Depictions of under age girls.

Well, as much as I can agree on a matter of principle. This would also mean that every picture of Supergirl should be deleted too (given that she's supposed to be around 16), which sound a little wrong.

Aside from that there's a matter of what underage is, given that in some countries it's 18, in others 21.

Not sure what the OP means by "depictions"....however, here is my take:

-- Stories should NOT be based on underage characters in any type of "adult situations" in any way! To be safe, I'd prefer that all the characters be above 18 which is the case in almost every story that I am aware of. The few exceptions that I AM aware of, do not even remotely cross over into questionable territory. If anyone knows of an exception, please let me know....

-- Pictures....this is a slippery slope as SWM doesn't monitor (or at least I dont) the user galleries. Back in the SGI days, I created and posted all the galleries and I made sure no nudity was posted. This is also the case with the SWM Galleries. User galleries are not policed but ANY porn or underage depictions will be deleted immediately and the user possibly banned. I'm not so much a prude about the topless photos, but let's keep it to a minimum.

-- Posts...no posting or embedding of porn vids, please or even NSFW stuff. If you wanna mention that stuff and you think its on topic, simply post a link and clearly indicate that its NSFW

In terms of "content", those are posts and do not concern me as much as "permanent content" such as stories or photos. Furthermore, in terms of Super"girl", if you've followed her over her history, she's been aged from 15 to mid twenties -- her latest incarnantion has her around 16-18, I'd say, but I get where you are coming from.

The Bionica "thread" has been locked and will eventually drop off the front. It was a rather G-rated thread though with people only asking about the production.

In terms of "mentioning" underage characters, I have no problem with that. While it's pretty evident there is a "fetish" undertone to this sight for some (towards superpowerful women, not underage girls), some people just like superheroines and powerful female characters for the action or fun of it. Creators understand this as well -- I like to think -- and promote and post here cause the audience tends to gravitate and enjoy their characters. I've mentioned a few under-18 characters on this site -- Tomorrow Jones and Once Upon a Super Hero come to mind -- cause I'd like to help the creators and they seem like cool projects, not because I'm trying to solicit pedophiles to the site. Bottom line G-rated characters (and ages)...G-rated discussions and posts....

Your comments on the "Latest Posts" widgets does give me food for thought about maybe creating a new NSFW forum / Topic and have any such content be routed there....I'll talk to Fats about that...

What about Anime? Populated by dominant schoolgirls. I draw characters like that as well, clothed and not in sexual situations such as Mots929. We're reading too much into this but as far as underage nudity goes, i wholeheartedly agree it shouldn't be presented here and i am sure it never was.

While I can see you want to err on the side of caution, which I understand. I think that chopping the whole tree can be as much of a problem. Completly removing each and every reference of underage characters from this community means that we have to preclude ourselves the possibility to discuss - or use in the stories - a lot of character.
