Karen Gillan

22 Apr 2010 19:18 #18854 by The Highlander
Karen Gillan was created by The Highlander
As any Doctor Who fans on here (especially those from the UK) will no doubt already know, the doctor has a new assistant in the 5th series, Amy Pond played by Karen Gillan. Not only is she incredibly beautiful, but she is also tall (5’ 10”), and has the great luck to come from my home town of Inverness. I think she would make an excellent superwoman, in all the interviews they keep talking about how Amy is supposed to be a strong independent woman. Why don’t we show them what a REALY strong woman looks like!

it's good to see a fellow Scot on this forum, when you see her in the flesh she looks taller than her 5' 10" stats show.

You’ve seen her in real life? You lucky little git!

It’s nice to see that I’m not the only scot on here, some of you might be interested in a story I’m working on. I’m trying to do an alternative history version of the battle of Falkirk, with a superwoman on the Scottish side. But don’t hold your breath I’ve been working on it since December and it’s still not finished.

That's nothing--I have a story I've been working on for years and haven't even started yet!

... I can't decide whether that's less funny or more funny because it's true.

And here was me thinking that everyone else on the site was American!

I’ve had a look around and managed to find a few more interesting pictures of Karen. I think Amy Pond would make an excellent subject for a story, in fact I’m surprised no-one has done a doctor who story before. After all, you have all of time and space to play about with willed with tons of fancy technology, magic and strange creatures. The perfect setting for a superwoman transformation.

Here’s a picture I made showing what happened when a Dalek tried to attack Karen Gillian, the real Amy Pond, while she attending a film premiere. Unfortunately for it, Karen is a LOT more powerful in real life than she is on Doctor Who!

Looks like the Dalek’s going to have to “RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!”

I'd be wondering who would be stronger out of her and Nicole Roberts. The two most powerful redheads on Earth able to lift whatever they'd want just to show which one of them could lift the most.

Yes I get it.
She can pull off a insecure geek or a impervious dominitrix with equal falicity, leading lady hotness with character actress chops.
Damn, a red headed URSA.

Glad you like it, I was originally going to do one of my superstrength morphs, but I couldn’t find any good source pictures.

Based on my extremely scientific calculations (i.e. who I fancy more!) I would say that Karen wouldn’t be as strong as Rachel Stevens or Nicola Roberts, although not by much. I’d say her limit would be about 230-250 tons

The irony is from what I’ve head she’s a bit of a ditz in real life. Apparently she spent most of her first pay check from Doctor Who on shoes!

So none of you guys believe I'm strong? Fine, give me a minute to get prepared and I'll lift this tour bus over my head. It only weighs about 25 tonnes so it won't even strain me at all so don't worry!

Let’s hope so!

I’ve managed to find a couple of suitable source pictures I think I can use, but the lighting on one of them is not very good (it was taken on a stage with backlighting). Does anyone think that they would be able to tidy it up a little for me?

Karen’s comment, “Some of you don’t seem to believe that I am super strong, so to prove it I’m going to lift this taxi over my head with ONE finger, that should dispel any lingering doubts about how strong I am!
