Volleyball babes Mega-post (High Bandwidth Warning

I’d been planning on doing this for a while, but it was only after seeing the Tennis women post started by Random321, as well as that photo Berkhart posted, that I finally decided to get down to business.

What many people don't know, is that name "beach" volleyball is actually a misnomer. You see, these women volleyball players actually play on a court made of 3 feet thick, steel-reinforced concrete. Of course, due to their super-strength and invulnerable bodies, the concrete is reduced to powder in short order. Also, the ball weighs approximately 250 lbs. and is made of a newly discovered, super-strong, super-dense, super-heavy, physics-defying element called uh, Unobtanium! Yeah that’s it, that’s the ticket! Though as you can see, sometimes even these super-balls can’t handle the pressure:



And here’s the damage caused by one that was spiked too hard and went flying a few miles away:



Most of the following photos were shot with special, high-speed cameras, as the women move at super-human speed. And while they can't fly, they can jump very high indeed.

She's upset because she hit a ball a little too hard and it smashed through the 1 foot thick protective fiberglass barrier and into the crowd, killing several people instantly. However, there will be no penalty for her, since all spectators must sign a waiver that releases Super-Women's Volleyball Association (SWVA) from any and all liabilty. (besides, there's really nothing they could do to her anyway)

Awesome, I've always thought volleyball babes would make excellent super women.

Yeah, and I'm normally not that into athletic types, but there's just something about beach volleyball that really gets my fantasies going. The fact that they usually play barefoot is a big part of it. I say usually because I have seen some photos where they are wearing socks(???).

Amazonian bodies and bikinis, how do you go wrong? Though to be honest not all players are attractive. The barefoot thing is plus, but that's a whole other topic. (I ain't no Quentin Tarantino if that's what you're thinking)

Yeah, I agree with dr_lazarus on the barefoot thing. I'm not a foot fetish guy, but it's just such a subtle display of power, the type I love most.

And about their outfits: I'm sure they could wear something less revealing, like say a one- piece bathing suit, but it's as if they're deliberately trying to ramp-up the sexiness factor — not that I'm complaining, mind you. Wouldn't surprise me if they started wearing thongs in a few years.

I while back, I was playing around with a story, or a vignette, or something, about a group of four unstoppable, villainous superwomen (called 'The Quartet'), and the terrible things they did on their island lair to the poor superheroes that they captured.

One of them was to play "heroball", which is 2 on 2 beach volleyball, except that the ball is a spherical hyper-steel cage with a superhero doubled up on himself inside. It's very unpleasant being inside that thing when a woman with the power to lift a mountain spikes it.

The story never went anywhere because, well, it doesn't go anywhere.
