I don't know who she is, but I suppose she already is super. The cushioning of course is only for his own safety - partly because at times she can get a bit carried away, and partly because not all about her body is either flat or round. There are certain edges that can really hurt a guy when he hits them... it's a bit like table corner safety covers that parents use to protect their children from harming themselves:

During the fight she actually let him run riot for a bit. She didn't want to humiliate him too much by ending the fight quickly. What she didn't consider was that he might be even more humiliated by her taking everything he had to dish out, exhausting himself more than he ever did in his hardest workouts, but not achieving even the slightest effect on her. Well, at least concerning visible effects. What he accomplished though was raising her pity for him and his male pride. He was still her boyfriend after all, and watching him realize her absolute superiority over him always made her feel sorry.
So she decided to knock him out with a slight left haymaker. She put almost nothing into the punch, not wanting to hurt him. But she wanted it to look like she really made an effort, so that he might think "Wow, look what she thinks is necessary to take me down, I must have really impressed her". And impress he did, but not physically. What always baffled her, and what she loved about him so much, was that he'd always get back in the ring with her and try his best, never giving up.

After checking his body for any non-superficial damage as broken bones (mainly the ones he hit her with, because she only dealt out one punch herself) and giving him some time to recover his breath, she hoped to make him forget about the repeated humiliation. Snapping off her sports bra by inhaling deeply, she ordered him to remain on his back so she could administer her "special thank-you treatment" on him.

He always loved this part. Actually, this was pretty much the main reason for him to always happily agree to letting her shatter his pride over and over again. He was already so eager to see which way she was going to take his pants off this time - she always made a big show of "you're just a living rag doll" with that.

I remember that one, was a great read. I like the more violent and evil approach - you can bring in pure playful dominance, and it leaves out the risk of rather patronizing elements that can occur in the "friendly girlfriend"-scenario.
