Just like the rest of Girls Aloud Kimberly Walsh likes to work our regularly, to make sure she stays in shape. Of course when you're as strong Kimberly making sure you have heavy enough weights becomes extremely important!

Recently Kimberly did a photo shoot did at one of her local Gyms, to show off with some of her special weights. In this shot she doing some simple arm curls, however what this picture doesn't show is that the bar Kimberly is curling has eight plates on each side of it, each weighting two tonnes, for a total weight of over 32 tonnes!

Later on in the same photo section Kimberly had switched to one of her other pieces of work out equipment, a kettlebell. She enjoys using this to exercise with, as it makes a refreshing change from conventional weights. The size of the kettlebell does cause some problems for her, but again it's not easy to make a 20 tonne weight this small!

While out for drinks with some of her friends one night Kimberly got a little carried away and decides to show off, by balancing one of London's famous black cabs on her finger! Fortunately the alcohol didn't affected her well developed muscle control and sense of balance (otherwise the result wouldn't be pretty for whoever owns the taxi!), and of course the weight of the two ton vehicle was completely insignificant to her!

Finally, while Kimberley might not be quite as strong as her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts she's still one of the most powerful women around, as demonstrated in her regular strength shows. Recently Kimberly's been working out particularly hard, which culminated in this incredible display of power as she lifts a 100 tonne railway locomotive with only ONE arm!

What is the power ranking/limit for each member of Girls Aloud? We know that Nicola is on top, obviously.

Do we know that? Or could it be that Nicola is actually the weakest of the group, the other girls often teasing her about the fact that she's only strong enough to lift ONE locomotive while they can each lift TEN with one hand?

No, Nicola is definitely the strongest member of Girls Aloud (hey it's my fantasy, I get to decide what happens!). As for the strength limits of each of the group, based on a very scientific method (i.e. who I fancy more!) Nicola is the strongest at around about 280-290 tonnes (in this version anyway), followed by Kimberley at around 270 tonnes. Nadine, Sarah and Cheryl are all considerably weaker at around 240 tonnes each, still respectable but significantly less than some other celebrities like Rachel Stevens and Karen Gillan.

There's also the issue of competence. One thing is being strong, knowing how to use one's strength to full effect is a different matter.

Don't worry, I'm sure they are all know exactly what they are doing, given how much time they spend playing about with heavy equipment
