Is there anyone who has Moxie's stories from his yahoo groups like Suanne and Megan Muscles. I've lost my copies and can't become a member of the yahoo groups. Can someone share?

He wrote terrific stuff but he hasn't produced something for what? Four? Five years? I wonder what happened.

I believe I heard he actually passed away. I may be mistaken.

No, you are correct. Moxie died in a plane crash several year ago.

Actually, I'm proud and relieved to declare that Moxie is indeed alive and well, as today, he just posted a brand new story that he has written at another forum I frequent, Superstrongk.

Check it out for yourself: superstrongk.freeforums.org/

Here is the specific thread that Moxie posted in:

superstrongk.freeforums.org/moxie-mankin...ts-1-and-2-t297.html

Moxie said himself that you guys may be thinking of Mac, who wrote similar stories.

Nice to hear Moxie is still alive and well.
So... Who is this Mac guy? Do we have any of his stories posted here?

Actually, I have an answer for that too, I think most of us remember a story called Morphenomenal, that was written by Mac, a lot of his stories can be found under this division of Diana's library, labeled Growth stories.

Okay, I'll try to clear things up a bit. Mac from the Diana site is a pseudo-name for someone who now operates under the name Power Company. Mick/Mac and one other name was actually the same person who wrote growth stories for Diana the Valkyrie. He is still alive.

The person who died that wrote for the Aurora Universe was the one who wrote the Dark Supergirl stories if I'm not mistaken. He was the one who died in a plane crash. Those stories were excellent and it is a shame that they will never be continued.

Moxie also has a collection of his stories on Yahoo Groups.

I thought it was a guy named Rick who wrote for the Power Company.

Actually, I wrote the Dark Supergirl stuff, but the Mac you were talking about wrote the very excellent Lillith series (where she was a young Velorian Protector on a planet of Tetrites) who meets and falls in love with Mac's alter ego, a spacecraft pilot from Earth's future. Tetrites are furry but cute spider-looking creatures with a body the size of a medium sized dog plus the usual eight legs. Who can forget "valid data is always welcome" Phil.

Mac died when a homebuilt biplane he was a passenger in lost its wing during a loop just before the Oshkosh show. His first love was building and flying experimental aircraft.

To be honest, I'm a bit reticent to look at any of Moxie's new stuff. To me, he always just walked the line of what I thought- IMO- was inappropriate at times. Great writing, just a bit young for my tastes.

That was the third name of the Power Company. Mac/Rick/Mick are all the same person. He made it seem like it was a trio of people who worked under that banner.

Okay, you are correct. I was going to write that there were possibly TWO Macs who wrote fictional stories for the genre but time constraints limited me. That's what I get for trying to remember things off the top of my head. The other Mac/Mick/Rick are the Power Company - all one person.

The Dark Supergirl saga is yours. I apologize for not remembering that. It's been a while since I read that magnificent storyline. I wish that that would've continued.

Would anyone like to see the Dark Supergirl series come back on-line? Not sure if there were more episodes after the last one you saw. There were enough to fill an entire book, that much I recall.

I think he was posting stories over at Brawna as Rick Powers. He was very prolific until his last post of The Inheritance part 2 in July of 2010, so the plane crash story would explain what happened to him. It's really sad, he was a very good writer and I enjoyed his stuff.

I believe that he is fine. It's the other Mac who probably is the one who died in the plane crash. I last talked to the Power Company person a bit ago. I could try contacting him again as I have his e-mail.

This is potentially GREAT news. I consider Dark Supergirl one of the best pieces of fiction in this genre!

Concur. Mandi was one of my all time top 5 ubergirls. Have some of those stories saved somewhere in my vault. Read them every now and again.
