While I’ve seen a variety of “Super Girl media interviews”, none have yet set a stage worthy of our genre. May I suggest the obvious? This is just too rediculously cheesy delicious to keep to myself (although I am working on one). Betcha can do me one (dozen) better.

“We have with us in the studio today, and this is kind of unusual,” Howard Stern scooted his chair to the console microphone, “the woman who called in last week claiming to have super powers…”
“This won’t end well.” Robin rolled her eyes beneath her headphones.
“Bear with me folks.” Howard flicked the ash from his cigarette. “Now normally we get this kind of phone call all the time and we’re not that kind of show—“
“Um—“
“Seriously.” Howard continued unabated. “But this caller added that she is actually….<insert character/super power tweak of your choice>… She really went all out to get our producer’s attention. Where is Barry anyway? Can we bring in our guest?”….

Blah blah blah. Sic’em tigers!

Yeah yeah, Springer, I know. But you need more of a chair-crumpling, girder-volleying PANEL for THAT circus. Ace with the single. Work up to it fellas.

Who is Howard Stern? Is he an American celebrity of some sort? :roll:

He hosted a raunchy network radio show that focused on interviews with strippers and the like. But the network cracked down after Bush ranted about the show, so now he's taken it to satellite radio.

Iam so glad that you asked the question "Who is Howard Stern". He is a self procaimed king of all media. He has a raunchy radio show out of New York and in the past few years it had been televised along with many breasts. He even had his own movie a few years ago. He is very high on my can't stand the guy list. Maybe that would be a good story topic. A supergirl gets mad at Howard Stern and takes him out to the wood shed.

Sigh. Think in deeper circles. Mr. Stern is of course a mere fly in my web of alterior motives.

I'm no fan of Mr. Stern's personality either. Just looking for an interviewer who could comfortably look super girl in the...whatever, and ask all the explicitly charged questions point blank y'all around here hunger to know the detailed answers to...without her having to bring up those subjects herself. Network mainstream and their censors just won't do, or you wouldn't be here. So find me a bolder inteviewer and I'll drop the subject.

There are several ubergirls in my neighborhood that would actually choose someone like Mr. Stern here for just the above reasons: meglomanical exhibitionists of a feather....broadcast live together.

Scoff now, but you're missing a great story.

Is this a proposal for a new contest?

I think there was once a salacious Supergirl interview story at Xtreme Strength, and there may have been others. But it was quite a while ago, and I'm sure there's room for more.

Should we try to outgross our predecessors?

This is simply as advertized: a story request/suggestion. No need to trump it up, but if one of the winners of the workshops would so desire....

Myself I'm more of the exhibitionist-of-otherwise-intimate-details angle ala my original inspiration: Josh's "Serena". Were you to approach from the 'outgross' angle, who am I to forbid-- but I probably wouldn't personally read more than a paragraph or so of such.
