A web comic with immense amount of panels. Lots of girl power especially gets interesting in Season 2. Unfortunately the story is completed

I've read most of act one and there's one thing that really bugs me. It's pretty clear that the author was going for some level of commentary on "traditional comics", but the result is really terrible. The heroes are pretty much the least likeable characters in the entire comic. And this isn't even done in the "Tiger & Bunny" style, where most heroes seemed asshole, but it was shown that they were actually nice guys in the end. At best Darkslug and Lighting seem to be self-centered parasites to their sidekicks.

I had a similar feeling when reading it. I understand that the main hero that the Dream Girl character is working for is supposed to be an unlikable asshole. However, the main character's constant rationalization of the abuse is extremely cringe worthy at times. There are a few times where she might as well have said "No, I really did fall down the stairs."

It also seems inconsistent with the world and superpowers. Like everyone gets born with one super skill plus flight from a cape, Dream Girl being her sleep eyes to make people go to sleep. However, she also clearly shows signs of super strength. Her assigned hero has laser vision, super speed, and super strength. But by that point, the story just was not grabbing me.

If I understand it right every super has strength, speed, accelerated healing with a degree of extra endurance and some for of "energy blast" by default, plus they all get one semi-unique ability (telepathy, control over one form of energy, hypnosis, etc.) as their signature skill.

I may perform Org level intellect when it comes to ubergirl content :D. So I didn't take the story seriously. Admitting that due to some nasty points, I first hesitated to share it here. But, later changed my mind for decent amount of ubergirl action. Still appreciating the artist for his productivity. It took me few hours to browse all the panels.

I’m reading it, but yeah it is rather confusing at times. Even inconsistent with powers. The constant introduction of new terms doesnt help either cause its like we’re -expected- to know what they mean. Which is the worse way to do world building. Yes the characters knows what that term means. But we THE READERS do not...

I think i posted about this serie some years ago, when it was still in Season 1.
Season 2 was already a lot better compared to the totally inconsistent (plot-wise) Season 1, so i will check the third now =)
