I love this book. Why? Because it hits home for this whole board in some way. It doesn't hurt the heroine is sexy. ;) All I'll say is this. It's an origin story that begins with a man's fascination with internet superheroine fetish sites. Great read. I recommend it.

I was going to post something about BULLETEER, but you beat me to it. (Damn your super-speed!) All I can say now is: Second that!

I take it the guy's fetish is NOT the peril/B&D sites?

This is the new four-part DC comic, or something else?

No, not peril. Not in the least.

Yes, the four part. It's part of Seven Soldiers.

But from the premise, as outlined at the DC site, it sounds (alas) about as appealing as THE SANTA CLAUSE.

For some reason, I'm having trouble finding any of these recommeds -- like WW 219-221. Comics shops in the burbs are either out of business or carry only Marvel titles. Guess I'll have to look in the city.

Don't judge a book by it's...premise?

I'm only giving my opinion. Maybe someone can tell you how the whole story plays out. I simply don't have that kind of time nowadays. She is a strong female character that had a twisted boyfriend and now she's paying the price. So far, she's not seeing her powers as a gift. The reason is probably what was sacrificed to get them. It's better than the current Supergirl, in art and story alike. Again, only my opinion.

#4 came out today and features a knock-down dragout fight between Sonic Sally and the Bulleteer which includes a nice background on Sonic Sally and her involvement in the fetish aspect of the internet and superheroine porn. Yes, even includes the "bullets bouncing off her photoshoot" .....

Overall, art is pretty good and I liked the story as they explained why Sally was so bitter and after Alix's husband....

Lots of uberness too, so pick it up!
