This is a few years old, but I don't see it linked here already. Project Rooftop did a Wonder Woman costume redesign contest a while back. The results are
here
.
I think the winner by Joe Quinones is great:

I like a lot of the others was well, especially this manga take on WW by Sonny Strait .

A slightly more recent workshop was held for Black Canary.
Winners are here .
I like the winner by Jemma Salume :

This one by Barbara Tarr is gorgeous and impractical as hell:

I believe the Supergirl events have been linked before, but just in case, here they are again, in six parts, along with my favorite from each part.
Part One . Vintage style from Luc Latulippe :

Part Two . She flies through the air with a smile on her face in this picture by Les McClaine :

The Power Girl special has also been linked before, but
here
is a direct link.
Joel Carroll updates Power Girl with this sleek redesign that ditches the boob window to focus on her powerful arms:

For some reason I never digger the project rooftop redesigns too much, som a re interesting, but others seem to completly miss any point.

Capes have to be the bane of the super-powered. Constantly getting in the way and the flapping would drive you nuts. Black Canary without fishnets would be totally un-American (or perhaps un-French?)and thigh-high boots need to go the way of the cape. Just my two-bits...
