This sounds like fun. I'll give it a try.

This is one of my favorite quotes of all time:

1) "Dear Benson, you are so mercifully free of the ravages of intelligence."

Okay, that's too easy. So how about this one:

2) "Room filled with empty people."

Since it's very early, and I want to give the others a chance, I'll give you vague clues.

For (1): The movie was made in 1981, and the cast included Sean Connery (who is NOT the one who says the line).

For (2): This is from a comedy with an all-star cast. And the opening credits include cartoons by Charles Addams (creator of The Addams Family).

I didn't recognize the line, but your clue tells me it's Murder by Death.

Both right.

Time Bandits and Murder by Death.

The line from Murder by Death happens when Peter Sellers (who plays a Japanese detective) returns to the dining room with James Coco (who plays the Poirot-wannabe) and Elsa Lanchester (who plays the Ms. Marple-wannabe) and finds it empty. Sellers looks around and says "Room filled with empty people."

Okay, let's get the ball rolling. Here are five new quotes...

1. "Now I know what a TV dinner feels like."

2. "I will live in Montana, and I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck, maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And we'll drive from state to state."

3. "That's 30 minutes away. I'll be there in 10."

4. "First you want to kill me. Now you want to kiss me. Blow."

...and everybody oughta get this one...

5. "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Another one from #1...

"You have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he's John Wayne? Rambo? Marshall Dillon?"

"I was always kinda partial to Roy Rogers actually. I really dig those sequined shirts."

I didn't think that anyone would get #3 with just one quote. It wasn't much to go on, though it's a classic line just the same.
