Anybody like Westerns?

Slightly off topic.
I like westerns and Female western heros.
I shot a lot of video last weekend for a short film I anm working on.
It's tenativly called "A Coffin for the Black Phantom"

This is when I get in my "Just get off your butt and do it" mode.

I got my group of actors together and we had a fun time.
Once again I made a lot of mistakes but some good stuff got made also.
I sent a sample video to a friend of mine and he sent this "down and dirty" video back with some Effects added.

Like this a lot. This has a kind of very old fashion feel to me, like something from a black and white western movie, and i like those kinda films-honestly if you did this in black and white it could be fun. this is cute can't wait to see the finished project.

Honestly hadn't thought of this until now, but why don't we see more old fashion western movies? there a lot of fun, are cheep to make when your not doing Lone Ranger and a lot of fun-regardless of you know gender roles i kinda like them in general to.

I was shooting for an Old Timey Western feel with some Euro/ Spaghetti Western thrown in also.
Westerns were a huge staple of old time Hollywood for decades.
I'd like see a mini comeback.

Looks like fun. Pretty tough to spin a sawed off shotgun but she pulled it off

I customized some toy pistols and rifles for the shoot.



The standard lever for the rifle was removed and my operating "trick" lever made from PVC pipe was installed

Huge, huge fan of western movies and tv shows but pretty much pre 1970 with a few exceptions. I also loved Dru's superchick western stories he did as well. You did a wonderful job with this Markiehoe. I would love to see this as a feature but I know that's gotta be tough to do. Thanks a ton for doing and posting this!

I have just a couple of "pick up" shots to do to cover some Boo Boos made during the big shoot.
