Soooooo Girl Of Steele 2 then. I'm sure you guys are getting sick of making movies for the time being but do you think its something that still might happen?
I must admit, I'd love to see it serialised and then put for download on the sites - I for one would love the countdown to each new segment. Just a thought as it might make it a bit less intensive work for you guys!

Girl of Steele 2 ? Yes and no... And no, we're not getting sick of making movies! In fact, it's the next step in the evolution of Steele Productions.
May take a couple more years to complete the transition, but that's where we're heading.
Ok, GOS (Girl of Steele).. We're not making a sequel. We're going back to bare bones. Totally reimagining it. Same story, same characters, new faces, and new venue. Seralized? We're (kinda) one step ahead of you. Those I've told so far I've sworn to secrecy, but now that we're about to wrap post production of THE AWAKENING, and already in pre production of our new GOS concept. I feel I can talk more about it now.
We're writing going to shoot this one in a television style format. 10 episodes for the first season. This project will have a running plot, spanning all 10 episodes, with a heathy share of tangent plots.
Downloadable episiodes? No promises, but yeah, we're wanting to do that. I wish I could take credit for that idea, but that's actually a page from New Goddess's book.
Less intensitive? I wish! I've been told , given our time frame for filming, if I want it to be in the same quality class as THE AWAKENING (and indeed I do!!), then we're being way too ambitious.
It took us 6 months to film one feature length movie, and for GOS we're going to have only 8 weeks to shoot 5 usable hours of footage for 10 half hour episodes. No doubt about it, this one is going to be a bear!

Wow - Thats amazing news:) I love seeing the odd clip that goes up but having a whole series of Supergirl would be f***ing incredible! In fact that would pretty much be fulfilling a lifelong fantasy!
Do you think you might be ever to get yourselves on a TV channel? From looking at the Awakening trailer it seems easily good enough quality for TV?

TV? Haha.. Not anytime soon. We'll just have to create our own channel.
One of the things I'm pretty excited about, is this one is going to take fan interactivity to a whole new level.
As we go, we're going have some of the fan fiction writers creating story lines in varous episodes.

Sounds like a plan that suits everyone! that is one of the coolest things about the whole Steele network thing. The fact that you guys really do take what people say on board and act on it. without getting too carried away it really is very much appreciated!
Unfortunately I'm out of town for a few months so I'm gonna have to wait more than most to see the movie - Oh well. I guess it means when I get back I'll have plenty of superheroine goodness stored up:)
