Julie of Velor
web.archive.org/web/20080216121115/http:....infinitybridge.com/
I have no idea what the robots.txt is, or what it has to do with the problem.
I also have no idea whether anyone here is still in touch with AK, although Geekseven at here at SWM may, since there have been some very occasional posts to a stub address by both him and AK.
Would be great to have the site back...

I understand this is replying to a fairly old thread so I
apologize in advance, but does anyone have this archive file
handy? I did try to use the wayback machine but some of the
links/stories were not mirrored. I also searched online and
had no luck finding an alternative mirror.
Thanks,
Neb

My download has as far as i can tell the whole site in terms of the text files, i would need to check my other back-ups to see if i can find any of the images.

web.archive.org/web/20040208110845/http:...rls.org/stories.html
If I click on a story chapter sublink, I get the link in the URL box, but a screen message that the story hasn't been archived:
But the URL link includes "stories.html." as well as the chapter link html. If I delete the former, I get a live link to the story, viz:
web.archive.org/web/20040208110845/http:...s.org/Julie/j01.html
Tarot sent a sample showing Chapter 19 of Leysen. I could see it included the chapter html, but didn't notice at first that it was missing the home page html. He later told me that the story links worked fine for him, and didn't repeat the home page html in the first place. Maybe it's some sort of browser problem. Either way, you can presumably access all the stories now.

Does anyone have a copy of the picture Topgun from the 4th chapter of the Superior Girl? I have been looking forever for it. It is basically a pic of a girl sitting on the front of a jet plan while it is flying in the air.

OK, i'll extract the zip file and create a very basic web site with all the stories there.
Expect it done this weekend.

I think I do, but it's very low resolution since it's from an MHT of the original story.

Stories from a single website are collected in folders at the end of the list.

Actually, thanks to the writers of those awesome stories.
I also fixed some file names that were causing troubles (& and ' are not accepted).
kshoo wrote: Thanks for sharing the links! Is there a quick way however to download the files in one go?
There is, I have to upload the whole bunch (~600MB) on some file hosting site.
It's not a problem and I can do it if you want, but mind that reading directly from the archive is better because most stories are in HTML format with HTML links to their pictures. If you want to read those stories on a device different than a home computer (like an iPad), the way the archive is organized allows you to see the pictures as intended which wouldn't be possible otherwise. Of course if you want to read them on your computer, there won't be any difference.

1. Click the main archive link:
web.archive.org/web/20040208110845/http:...ls.org/stories.html/
Then click a story/chapter link. But on my computer I get a message saying the page isn't archived:
ttp://web.archive.org/web/20040208110845/http://julievelor.ubergirls.org/stories.html/Julie/j01.html
Deletonh the redundtant "stories.html" in the URL box solves the problem:
web.archive.org/web/20040225212951/http:...s.org/Julie/j01.html
The long-term solution would be for AK himself to bring back the site/

Both archives seem solid but, as is often the case, the picture are missing. I know that the stories work without them, but I consider them a pretty integral part of AK's style.
BTW, I checked my HD and I have a full copy in .mht of Superior Girl, World's Mightiest Girl and at least one more story, if anyone is interested send me a line.

There was some inspiration back-and-forth, but I never had any direct contact with AK or his site.
