Will Supergirl Be In The Batman VS Superman Movie In 2016?

Basically, this topic is about what the title suggests: Will Supergirl be in the new Batman VS Superman movie coming out next year? Wouldn't that be exciting? Having her in both her own series, and a big screen movie (albeit in a supporting role in the movie, but still in it!)

The last search I did I only found news articles back in 2014 about Supergirl's appearance (I did the search today, the articles were in 2014), but I only did a quick one and could easily have overlooked something.

What does everyone else think?

I highly doubt it There was talk about her being in a Man of Steel sequel, but with becoming a Justice League preview and Supergirl getting her own series, I don't see it happening. The DC TV & film worlds are not connected and having 2 different Supergirl would be confusing. Probably the big reason Superman is so rarely mentioned by name in the series.

Well when the trailer for supergirl came out...i spent a bit of time with the idea-you know i will recut this so it fits the trailer for Man of Steel. That could be fun.

But honestly i stoped after about an hour or so. And the reason was....it just felt completly diffrent. The tone of it all is night and day. Which is not to say Man of Steel is bad, or Batman Vs. Superman is bad..but they are a series that is going for a somber, thoughful tone, with a very distinct visual look and special effects. Its main concept is What choice does Clark have to humanity-and what a burdden it is

Supergirl tv show? not so much. Its much lighter, much more jokey, and much more well fun, visually style. its main concept is: isn't it great kara can do stuff? She has this.

and both are totally valid. I am not going to knock it-but Benoist in the 6 minutes we have seen of her looks like she would stick out like a sore thumb in the DC Movies. And for all the talk about diffrences, she wouldn't fit in the MCU films either-she really is just looking so much like this is the time of her life for them.

And thats okay.

it should be pointed out they have announced a Flash movie actors and direction-allwithout really uaditioning the actor on the Flash TV show....cause well they wanted to have a diffrent tone(i think there oig for something more comedy there-fair enough)
