hi all,
In 3 hours from the time stamp on this message the IRC chat room will be one year old, that's right 1 year old.
When i started the chat room it was not out of needing a chat room but it was to have a back up to the site as a way for people to communicate, it has worked better than i expected. Out of it we got new writers, people who never spoke on the forum said "hi" and from that we got our own supergirl. It has been a great tool in bring people together and to inform people about what has been going on in the site.
There has been some ups and downs but on the whole it has been great.
I would like to personally thank all the users of the chat room past and present and hope to see you there in the future.

It's been a whole year already? Time sure flies. Remembering the beginning where there was rarely any activity in the chat, I really want to thank everybody who stopped by for a chat over the course of the year and hope things will continue like this.
