New message indicator

I just noticed the message at the top of the forum page that said "You have 1 new message". Someone had responded to one of my forum posts, and I didn't know it at first, because the message indicator doesn't stand out. Is there any way you could make that more obvious? Just a thought.

Never mind. I searched around a little, and found that there are already ways to make it stand out more when I have private messages. I changed my profile settings for it.

Now, I just have to figure out why I couldn't delete my previous message.
