Okay, here's an idea for the next workshop. I can see where it might be not be to everyone's liking, so let me know what you think.
Since my set of "Transformatrix" stories was well received, how about using Workshop 1.10 as an opportunity for writers to contribute stories of their own to the "Transformatrix Universe"?
I've established that there are over 500 known "transformees" world-wide, and perhaps several hundred more who choose, for one reason or another, not to reveal their powers to the general public. I've also tried to show something of the enormous variety of personalities, backgrounds, and motives among these superwomen.
So each transformee has her own unique story. Your challenge would be to tell one of them. Take a look at the story yaracyrrah posted on the Interactive Story forum a few days ago for a good example of what I'm talking about.
I could toss out some specific suggestions, but I'd like to hear what my fellow members think of the idea. Personally, I think the "Transformatrix Universe" could be a terrific collaborative project, and this workshop could be a good way to get it moving.
Reactions?

Well, as Argo knows but no-one else does, I have a story idea for T-4000 that I'd want to submit, set between the end of T4000 thread and the start of Argo's chapters, involving (mainly) Amber and Kara/Jill.
So, yes - T4000 is good for me.

Okay, there's a yes -- and several other writers have expressed approval of the idea in private messages.
All opposed?

Just want to throw my 2 cents in, since it's been so quiet, and let you know that I probably won't participate regardless of the topic. I've been too busy lately to even read the workshop 1.9 stories, let alone write anything. But I am glad to see that the workshops have had a decent participation level. If all goes well, I should have more free time to participate again in a few months.

I also like the idea of a workshop based on the TFverse. Maybe I will participate too.

Well, it's been nearly a week since I posted my suggestion, and I haven't heard any objections -- so I guess "Tales of the Transformatrix" will be the theme for Workshop 1.10.
I'll send admin a one-sentence description of the new workshop, along with a brief plot summary of the "story so far" and some very general guidelines for interested writers.
And in addition to "bragging rights" and the choice of the next workshop theme, there may be a special prize for the winner!
