This was such a major piece of work, it demands a new thread..! :P

For those of you familiar with Photoshop, I'm not going to tell you exactly how many layers and masks this image required as it might make you faint..! :)

Well not being expert must suppose that probably a good amount.

As we're misquoting Voltaire, I might add that my favourite quote of his is: behind every successful man, is a surprised mother-in-law. :)

The image took close to 60 layers, but to make it more workable I merged them down to a couple of dozen. The floor itself is about four layers, because each of the foreground objects has to cast its own shadow. (Always best to do each shadow independently, as they are tricky customers to get right! Indeed I'm still not happy with them!) Unfortunately the business woman was shot using studio lighting rather than natural light, and try as I might I couldn't get her to match the surroundings... but hey-ho, you can't have everything..! :)

Both the background and phone booth images (yes, they were separate) came from a popular photo stock site.
