Yes, although Lucy did have to warn them to keep the Getty imprint away from her favourite, important Super-Improved best areas (and she wasn't Just referring to the Riskology logo), or there would be BIG trouble in their hands. Getty management could only hold up their hands, sigh and had to compromise...


 

In the bathroom the morning after, she stared knowingly into the mirror;
"Uh, oh... I've forgotten to change back from my Super Transformation after a wild night, last night...will he have noticed?"
 
 

That would be a great before and after or transformation.  What does her human alter ego look like?

When she wants to complete her changes with her Transformation, she easily can do with her SuperSpecial ShutterPills which she accidentally created in her role as a dowdy lab assistant at work - she had managed to make a stack of a collection behind her unknowing lab professor's back.
After removing her glasses, she now has the knowledge that just one of the astronomical amount of her little pills she has created will provide her with Powers only she will Possess, away from her shy self......Into so much more. Her Other Self, Her Newly Established SuperBeauty Self...  
Even her front has become more established with her collar bones and neckline almost struggling against the remorseless pull from her chest below. She doesn't care, she knows what these little pills can give and have given her.

The Super 'S' on her chest was now swelling out and expanding rapidly, as well as all the muscles on her arms which were now also growing and bulging out to convey her newly found SuperStrength.
She could and would return to her 'normal' form, but when the opportunity arose, she Could and Would pull her costume on to attract the same bolts of lightning to transform into her SuperSelf. Nothing could stop her then, with the Strength of Thousands and the Wishes of Millions Surging through her body.
Her Special Costume would not now be returned to the hire shop...

His New Super Special Secret Secretary had arrived to start her first day in the office. Her Supergirl identity could be put on hold, maybe temporarily at least, for her 9 to 5 job.
"Can you open those in here please?" was her boss's first request...
"Where did you say you wanted me to open these?"
 

Her new boss gulped hard and he nodded towards the filing cabinet...

"Oh, you mean the files? I thought you meant somethings different entirely!"
Her superhearing then picked up trouble across the city...
"Um, can I take a quick break please? I'll be back shortly!"
This new office environment was going to need some getting used to for her.

She really didn't have time for this filing cabinet business. First day or not, there was an immediate emergency across the city. She would have to reveal all to her new boss.
Her Secret Identity was no longer as she pulled open her blouse, thrust out her Super 'S' on her revealed chest ​​​​​​and unravelled her long blonde hair as Kara floated off the floor above the filing cabinet, photocopier and her manager.
 
​​​​​​"I really have to GO NOW This Instant!" she commanded.
Her widening torso and the transformation of her thickening SuperStrong arms would soon Burst through her office outfit...
"That's right, I.am. SUPERGIRL" she exclaimed down at him.
 
She took off through the 20th floor window above and behind him.
'Will I still have a job to come back to in the office?' she thought to herself.
There was a more important situation to deal with right now. She would just have to wait and see...

The SuperBabe in the red costume Breezed, Bounced and Flew past the young couple in a Blur. She had definitely turned the young guy's head with her Body and her Pace, as he let out a "Woah!", much to the annoyance of his girlfriend;

The SuperSpeeding girl in red listening into the conversation with her Super Hearing, could only smile and run her fingers through her hair, as she continued accelerating on her way...

Two Heroes For Halloween

The fireworks in the background had remarkable effects on the two young women's halloween costumes, as well as their own now SuperStrong Bodies...

"Me too! I Can't Wait to Lift Some Real Weight!"

I've always thought this panel by GlassHouse Graphics was one of the most dynamic drawings of Supergirl ever. The raw power is mind-boggling. 

Violence such that we can see that her cape and skirt and have been shot up, and even more her blue tunic that is barely holding on. Clearly she's been on the wrong end of some serious gunfire. 

Also, judging from the holes in the front of that train engine, we're taking cannon fire here, probably something akin to a WWII anti-tank round. 

There are number of ways to try and figure out what the story behind the scene might be about, but as I see it, she's hit that subway train head on, digging her fingers deeply into the thick steel front, and has brought it to such a rapid stop before pushing it backward that even the rails and ties of the roadbed are bending and lifting upward. 

The massive force of the impact has caused people on the platform to cover themselves, and I'm sure in the next half second they are going to be blasted backward by the shockwave to the far side of the platform. And likely this fight is far from over given both she and the subway train seem to be targets of some heavy shooters down the tunnel behind her. 

But there are other ways to imagine this scene.

I figure it needs a story, but due to the ambiguous violence of the scene, I'm not sure where to go with it. But it's a shame for such a fine drawing to live without a corresponding story.

Maybe someone here has a better imagination as to what is going on, before and after this scene, and would like to clue the rest of us in via a story? Imagination-stuff.

An Alternate Earth vignette...

The assembled workers gawked as a house-sized boulder descended slowly from the sky as if by magic to touch down along the perimeter of the new zoo. The ground rolled slightly under their feet as it adjusted to the massive weight. 

Crouched near the top was a blonde girl. She pulled her fingers from where they'd been sunk into the hard granite and stood up to survey her handiwork. Carrying them from above was less likely to crack them than from beneath. Now, only another fifty to go.  

Conner stuck his head out the kitchen doorway to see what the shaking was, and then turned back to his friend Freyja, who was making bread. "Your daughter has given up wearing her top again. Putting on quite a show."

Freyja shrugged. "She's a Valkyrie, Conner. A demigod. Showing a little skin isn't going to hurt her or anyone else. Besides, do you see how many volunteer workers we've got here today? Imagine tomorrow. We're going to get this zoo going in half the time I figured. Girl knows what she's doing. We've got a bunch of reconstituted dinosaurs to contain. Need a big fence."

"I guess. Still think she's showing off."

"Of course she is," Freyja replied. "Are you jealous? That maybe she's stronger than you are?"

"Don't recall you ever showing off this way. But I presume her being your daughter, you could?"

"Those boulders aren't all that heavy. Why don't you go and help her while I make bread."

He walked up to wrap his arms around the blonde woman's slender waist, pressing himself against her as she leaned over the table, working a huge pile of dough. "You need some help with that", he said, moving in rhythm to her kneading. "You know how much I enjoy feeling those muscles working." 

She laughed as she pushed him back with one flower-covered hand. "You might be Kryptonian, Conner, and a true gift to women, but you have to make up your mind. You don't get to have both of us."

It had been another humdrum day in the office as an apprentice journalist. She had to keep her secret lifestyle under wraps, so, to help matters, the nine-to-five in the office with the boring thirty minute commute seemed to kind of add up.
Waiting on the platform for the lacklustre journey back to her apartment - she could travel there in seconds if she really wanted to, her Super Hearing picked up the distant rumbling down-track of what sounded to her like the charging of one thousand mammal beasts.
Coiling back her long blonde hair behind her ear, she could hear the panicking driver shouting through his comms device "It's out of control! The brakes have gone! I can't stop this!"
No-one on the platform suspected anything. It was time to dive into action in her true form as Clara slipped behind a pillar, only then to emerge as the Mighty SuperGirl! She sped onto the centre of the now rumbling tracks and braced herself, hands that were prominently placed on her hips were then pushed forward ahead of her SuperStrong Arms. Her public watched on in sheer disbelief, ​​​'What the Hell was this young costumed woman doing?!'
The Three Tons of Train, it's force embellished by it's incredible speed charged towards her. She winced and let out a loud YELL! just before the impact. She knew deep down that she was Unstoppable, but THIS ​​​would be a challenge.
The noise of the charging engines was incredibly loud as it bore down on her.
Now was the time. She greeted the charge of the Pistons with an equivalent Shove in front of the oncoming train's direction. There was only going to be one winner in this Battle of the Behemoths, and, as sparks flew above and the tracks below buckled relentlessly, the only winner was going to be The Female Kryptonian. The train shuddered  to an unseemly halt...
Dressing down her now ravaged costume that had helped withhold Tons of Force, Clara had decided it was time to make a quicker commute home to her apartment that evening as she flew off at SuperSpeed down the tunnel to the gasps of commuters on the platform.
A train with it's frontage caved in lay below the unbelieving eyes of a shaken but relieved driver. 
No-one on the now shocked, silent platform suspected anything, that the station had, in fact, been saved by a fellow commuter...

Nice start to a story, Monty. Classic Supergirl set up. The joys of a secret identity and living among the people of a great city. A great power meeting an even greater power, as a young woman's muscles prove far stronger than a runaway train. 

But...but... what about those bullet holes? <grin> 

When they come to dig out the shattered remains of the train, somebody is going to notice those. There's a bad guy on the loose!
