We are currently in post-production on Stormy Tempest: Unmasked, which features our sci-fi superheroine on the run from a steampunk-inspired bounty hunter.

We are working on a production blog that explains a bit about the development of the movie itself and provides a few behind-the-scenes details, which you can see by clicking here .

Here are a few preview screen captures from the raw footage.

Don't know. Might working on getting up some more downloadable comics after Stormy:Unmasked is done.

Hi, Mo.

Supergirl belongs to DC.

We have Ms. Victory and Yankee Girl, both are very similar to Supergirl and/or Wonder Woman-types. On a historical note, both Ms V (Aug. 1941) and Yankee Girl (1947) were created before Supergirl (1959). Ms. V is also slightly older than Wonder Woman (Dec 1941) by a few months.

A Ms. Victory movie is bound to happen sooner or later. We just need to find the right actress in Florida (that we can afford).

Also, to Helstar... THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT! :)

Later,
AC

Not particularly. There IS peril in the film, as part of the plot and general action that you will find in any comic book when a villian and a heroine face off... but the peril is not the focus of the films. The whole idea behind FemForce has always been that the women take care of themselves. Plot, character, humor and personality supercede all else. Our characters have over 40 years of comic book history behind them... we're trying to bring them to life on screen, not just make films about women tied to chairs.

The "peril" is more along the lines of what you see in the old Wonder Woman series, or 60's Batman... or 1940's serials.... just another obstacle for the hero to overcome.

Is there some real superwomen action with feat of strength and triumphant Super powered women ?

YES! Triumphant super-powered women are what they're ALL about! The Blue Bulleteer is a normal woman with guns, though she can fight and is spunky. Later in her crimefighting career, the Blue Bulleteer becomes a powerful sorceress known as Nightveil, who can do pretty much anything. Both Nightveil films have her flying, fighting with spells, teleporting.... typical sorceress stuff. Stormy Tempest is an intergalactic space cop from the future. Her "powers" come from the technology of her suit, which right now include shields, lasers, scanners, flying handcuffs, communications, and others. Nyoka is a jungle girl with fighting skills, and that film probably has our best action sequences released so far. And the giant women are...uh... just giant women. Giantess fans have been a part of our comics fan-base for a long-time.

If it's super-powers you want, try Nightveil: Sorcerer's Eye, Witchwar or Stormy Tempest. Also Nyoka has no powers, but her movie is extremely cool for a micro-budget film.

No feats of strength yet in any of them though, unless you count giant women trashing buildings and throwing cars. You'll have to wait for Ms. Victory, Stardust or Yankee Girl for that kind of thing.

Thank you very much for those precisions Accomics !

You said that there's no women feats of strength and that I'll have to wait for Ms. Victory, Stardust or Yankee Girl for that kind of thing.
Did you mean that you will produce short movies featuring those characters (I especially think about Mrs Victory) in action using her superstrength ?

If you do that, I'll subscribe instantly ! That would be so great !
Thanks.

That depends entirely upon the success of the films we've already made. Currently our audience is very small...quite frankly too small to justify making more films. You're best bet for seeing more films is to check out the ones that we have already made. We'd LOVE to make more, but we can't throw money away either.

Currently we are hearing from MANY people that if there is no nudity or no real bondage (which we will never do), then there is no interest in our films. From the giantess fans we hear that if there are no giant women, there is no interest in our films. And now if there are no feats of strength there is no interest in our films?

All of this is too specific. At one time there were very few superheroine films AT ALL. Now there is a film for every niche fetish or interest group you can think of. The genre has been subdivided to the extent that I'm wondering if a profitable low-budget film can be made at all?

The genre we WANT to occupy is "fun, humorous and exciting low-budget films with character and retro sensibilties featuring strong female heroines". ("Strong" as in powerful, confident and heroic). If that sounds like your cup of tea, please check out one of our films and you'll likely enjoy what we offer already. If your interest is more specific, it may turn up in a future film... but we can't make future films without support for the films we have already made. Much like comics themselves...there can be no future issues if the current issues do not sell.

Don't forget flying.

There's a little flying in Nightveil and there are flying rocketmen in Stormy Tempest: Attack of the Giantess. More flying would be required for Ms. V, Yankee Girl or Stardust... if we're able to make them.

Thanks for looking.

Stormy Tempest: Unmasked is our first superheroine film made SPECIFICALLY for peril fans! If that's not your cup of tea, then this might not be the film for you. Then again... Stormy gets in quite a few good licks using her suit's powers and technology and she's tough as nails! Not to mention that it's a pretty funny, exciting and entertaining flick in general.

It's based off of a custom script sent in by Nikolai68 who's also done some script work for Hypnotics World among others. We added our own spin to it and tossed in a couple of dinosaurs and the end result is a pretty amazing film with some of the best action, humor and effects we've ever done. This one's a BLAST! Stormy finds herself on the run from our new bounty hunter Clayton the Sleeper.

If you're a fan of the superheroine genre I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also, as always, feedback is welcome!

The movie is available here:

cultretro.com/index.php?main_page=produc...&products_id=117

You can check out the trailer at YouTube here:

Here's the official description of the film:

Smokin’ Rockets! Sexy, sci-fi superheroine Stormy Tempest returns in an all new, action-packed interstellar comedy adventure… but this time Stormy and her wisecracking companion S.H.I.P. may very well have met their match! Ambushed by the not-quite-notorious bounty hunter Clayton the Sleeper, Stormy soon finds herself stranded on the surface of a jungle planet teeming with strange critters and alien monsters. Robbed of her suit’s technological weaponry, Stormy must use her wits and fighting skills to survive a cat-and-mouse chase with a powerful adversary… and avoid being eaten by prehistoric beasts! Clayton the Sleeper relentlessly pursues his prey with an arsenal of steampunk gear that includes a wrist-mounted power-sucking tazer, flare cannon, stun pistol, cloaking device, sword, "monofilament nano-weave" snare and tranquilizer spray. Clayton may have a bit of a crush on Stormy, but he’ll stop at nothing to collect that bounty… and to add Stormy’s mask to his string of trophies! The stunning NICOLA RAE returns as Stormy Tempest in Bill Black’s latest cult epic STORMY TEMPEST: UNMASKED, a unique blend of Barbarella, Space Patrol… and Gunsmoke? Toss in some dinosaurs, a little cleavage and a lot of laughs and this one’s got it all! Don’t miss it!

We've had a lot of requests along the lines of peril material, so this is sort of an experiment to see how that plays out. Stormy, of course, holds her own and outsmarts the bounty hunter in the end and throughout the film for what that's worth.

Now a strength-ladened or superpowered showcase movie with Ms V, now we're talking!

Not Ms. V, but that power set WILL be the subject of our next film experiment. We've already cast the girl and she's a hottie, though at 5' tall she's not exactly right for Ms. V. (who should be taller). She'll be our own custom Supergirl created specifically for the screen and the first film will be her origin. She probably won't have a costume in the first one though. Perhaps just an outfit that just "happens" to be red, white and blue... much like Clark Kent's civilian clothes on Smallville. The plan is to pack it full of the stuff you guys here might like to see.

Ms. Victory hings upon casting. When we find her, we'll definitely make it.

Thanks! I know you're not a "peril" fan, but you should consider giving Stormy Tempest a shot. By OUR way of doing things it's no more peril than you would see on a typical episode of Smallville (well, maybe a little more...) and our heroines always prevail. For every bit of trouble that she gets into, she gets herself out in true heroic fashion. Plus, it's a pretty funny and unique film in general. "Peril" just seems to be one of those keywords that are necessary for sales. Don't let it scare you. :)

Plus, success for Stormy equals more films that might appeal to you later in general.

No ETA on the supergirl-style film yet as I'm still writing the actual script, but we've developed enough of a story and personality for her that we can create many adventures down the line if sales permit. We might be filming it in March. This particular actress came to us because she liked our Nyoka film and she is keen to run around the woods in a bikini as a jungle woman... and I'm not terribly inclined to object. :) We're stil not sure which film to do first, but the supergirl-esque film seems most likely.

Here's a few promo shots from our actress.

I like the pulp comic look of the pictures. I know you mostly feature superheroines but how about a pulp-style film in the vein of those B&W serials from the 30's and 40's? You could do a female version of Indiana Jones who is a crackshot with pistols and a martial arts expert. She travels the globe battling gangsters, secret agents, pirates, headhunters, and dinosaurs! :D Maybe give her an exotic pet or a male counterpart who is always getting into trouble and who she has to constantly rescue from certain doom.

Not a peril fan overall. Will likely order the Stormy video to see how it is. Take me a week to get back to civilization however. Net speed here is like 56k or worse. Remember those bad old days?

I would love to see videos of the other heroines in the AC universe, I think a She-Cat feature could be made on a similiar budget and be awesome. I'd much rather see Yankee Girl live action before Ms. Victory, a feature starring Yankee Girl in the vein of WW would be so cool.
