New website from the nextglobalcrisis people.

Looks very promising - and judging from the trailer and what I've read a bit something for everyone :)

Personally I'm completely sold just on the supergirl costume and actress combo!

I talked to the person in charge and he told me there be no alter ego transformations with supergirl.

Picture number 3 is the standard "Backbreaker" shot that is in the majority of NGC videos that I have seen.

Hmm - you get the impression from the screen caps that it's going to be quite peril heavy but there are plenty of clips in the trailer of Supergirl looking very super.

I'm hoping for plenty of back and forth action. Fingers crossed.

Not heavy on peril and was a very nice surprise! Closest comparison I can make is an Americanized version of "Zen-Pictures" (makers of Astro Girl) -- some girl power, emphasis on cosplay, some gratuitous peril, but overall nothing squeemish or "disgusting" (unlike Akiba/Giga). It does have "kryptonite weakening" (which isnt a spoiler cause its on all their promos) but the ending is something I feel most of audience would like.

The price point -- while below NGC's normal fare -- is still steeper than PSW and other girl power genre outfits, but its not severely overpriced, IMO --- especially considering there is something in there for every fetish (costumers, pasty hose, peril, girl power, boob expansion, etc)

As a first release, I would recommend its something to consider purchasing and keeping our eye on......

I bought it. The costume is amazing. There is a little bit of girl power at first, then some kryptonite peril, then some girl power again.

It seems to me that they're trying to hit several different fetishes at once. So whatever it is that you like, you'll probably see some of it in here. I personally loved it, but mostly because I'm a sucker for the girl power and the classic 1984 Supergirl costume. The kryptonite stuff is the dominant theme, though, but it's definitely not as bad or disgusting as some of the other stuff out there. I think I got my money's worth, but that's my own opinion. I do intend to buy future episodes. Others may vary.

A bit late posting my review, but I would say this is a must buy for any fans of the Helen Slater movie.

The combination of actress and quality costume is pretty much second to none in that respect. There is a sizeable portion of the movie dedicated to a weakened Supergirl getting her ass kicked but it's only at the level that we might expect from a movie/tv series and we get a good 3 or 4 moments of Supergirl being very Super.

Can't wait to see what comes next

I see there's movie number 3 is on the way for this site. Part 2 came out a while ago and I would definitely recommend that one as well.

lots of back and forth fighting and Supergirl completely looking and acting the part.

You can so tell that a wig is being worn. But NGC, who do these productions, are an excellent team, renowned for their superior direction, script and choreography. So this series is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Thanks if you did keep an eye on it. About the wig... we honestly didn't hide from that fact, we made a point of it in the first film where she complains that she can't take the wig off! It was part of the story.

Anyway, we will have something new tomorrow that I hope you will enjoy. I will let you know when it is ready.

I'll say it again that ACP seems to be on the same wavelength as a lot of the community here in terms of "girl power". I'd love to see them tip the scales more on the (super)girl power side of things, but the only way they'll do that is if our community can show strong support for those types of films. I think it's rather understood that peril sells better than girl power films, so we have to rally around the few outlets we have, such as TKS, WCG, PSW, and now ACP.

Another interesting note is that NGC has been a fan of this site and genre since even before they launched (I looked up his registration date), so he's a fan of ubergirl like us! Hopefully we can persuade him enough to incorporate some more invulnerability, superbreath, gun crushing, bar bending, heavy lifting, etc. into their films -- and a big preliminary step would be to show our support. What say you?

I disagree a little bit. We get lots of benefits when they get success. They just do movies with superfeats like superstrength, heat vision or superbreath because people ask and buy.
It's not directly this success but we all know how is difficult to find superwomen content, despite things got better in the last years.
But I sign below in all you wrote about NGC, ACP and the other websites :)
