Project Super Woman: Choices (Feb 2019)
start to evolve in the next release. I had fun with the editing on this
one. There is aerial flying, heat vision (melting down an engine),
super breath (closing the door on a bad guy), super strength (stopping
cars and lifting trams). My favorite part is when Michaela gets playful
with the molten metal dripping out of the engine and rolls it in her
hand (yes, Michaela really was invulnerable to the hot metal).
As always let us know what we can do better and what stood out as the thing we could improve most. I'll say, while I was editing, I was using YouTube to listen to music and kept getting bombarded by "Master Class ads" - one with Ron Howard talks about how every production will find it's way to break your heart. Two things happened on this one: The wind was just relentless and fierce. That's better than being rained out but it make sound really hard. The focus and stability control on my favorite scene with the liquid metal dripping into Michaela's hand is very soft in what I could salvage. It's such a shame! I think we were having so much fun watching it ourselves I blew it.

Franky: That image just might be a bit of a spoiler. Landscape looks familiar. The characters look familiar. I wonder how they got to that place? Hmm. ;^) Surely Super Michaela is just choking on a chicken bone, no?

I spent a few months stalking e-bay thinking I'd love to get a real cosmonaut helmet and face mask... ...but that was hundreds of dollars. I settled on that helmet. However, I took an intertube and sliced in lenghtwise and attached it to the helmet to make it a bit more "real." I also burned it, and dumped dirt on it, and scratched it - but *none* of that came through on the video. <sigh> I also added a copper tape circuit with LED's to the inside but that was never of use since it was so bright.
Kikass: Thanks! Part 2 is much farther along that you might think. I hope to keep the momentum going.
For those still on the fence I created a teaser (it was "asked" for in the blog comments.)
