Is Brantley Thompson Elkins's site Bright Empire actively updated?

I'm a new Aurora Universe writer, greatly inspired by the writings of Shadar across many sites, and by the writings of Brantley Thompson Elkins at his BrightEmpire.com site. I sent BTE an email this weekend asking if he would like to consider publishing an AU novel from a new author in the genre (which I'm also submitting here, in installments). I hope that he is well and happy, whether or not still actively engaged with this writing; the last post I've seen from him either here or at his site is from around three years ago.

Brantley is still around. I traded some emails with him about a month ago.

That said, he has stopped updating his website (BrightEmpire) much as I have stopped updating AUOW.

For my part, I decided I'd just post on SWM. I like the environment and members, and I'm producing new stuff at too slow a rate to support a website. But Brantley has completely stopped writing in this genre at this point. 

Of course, never say never. I've stopped many times, but always restarted. Maybe Brantley will too. Especially with a new writer. 

What's the name of your novel and/or your installments?

My story is "Empire Zukenov Invades!" About 40k words in all, which I'll post in six parts. I just submitted Part 1, and see that it's in the pending review queue.

SWM publishing is only on Sundays. Need to get the story submitted on Saturdays before end of day Italian time or it will wait until next Sunday.

BTW... question for Woodclaw... will the contest entries this Friday preclude other stories being published this weekend?  I think there is sometimes a pause on publishing until a contest is completed and winner is announced. I ask because I might have another installment of my Little Krypton storyline ready this week.

Darn it, that means either a one week or two week delay?
I had in mind to submit an installment every few days. Perhaps I should put in two or three for the week ahead, then?

If you'd like, if there's a way to attach it to a private message or email, I'd be up to provide it to you early. I deliberately have one inconsistency with how a particular weapon works per some other AU stories, for a bit of poetic license. Otherwise, I feel I've soaked up a bit of the AU vibe.
