An AU story that I've had for YEARS.

An AU story that I've had for YEARS. was created by deathgeonous
Ok, so I've had this idea for an AU story for over three years now. I even joined the AU writers group back in 2007 to get some help with it, and I even talked to, I think it was Brantley, but I'm not so sure now, I know it was one of the big wigs in the AU writing scene, and he seemed, intrigued at least with my idea, but of course, my life went to the shits and I never did anything with it.

Anyways, here is a very brief gloss over of my idea and I was wondering what people think. Who knows, maybe I will write it some day. Miracles can happen, especially if you really want them to.

My basic idea was that on another planet or something there was a, and please, please forgive me for my misspellings here, I'll get it right in the story, a Velorian Protector. She somehow got captured by the Airons and was while in gold restraints raped by a Airon Prime.

Now the weird thing is, she got pregnant by him. I don't know if a Velorian can get pregnant by an Airon, but it makes sense that they can.

Now she was saved by strike team or whatever the Velorians call them, and when they found out she was with child from an Arion Prime, they wanted it aborted. They also decided to incarcerate her for life for this 'Abonination' that she would be giving birth to.

Long story short, she escapes and is now on the run from both the Velorians and the Airons.

A couple of space battles later, and she warps out of one in an uncontrolled warp. She then, of course, crash lands here on earth.

Now the funny this is, I'm making the Velorians just slightly less of a bad guy as a people then the Arions in this story. When they both get to earth, they will be fighting each other, while at the same time they will both be hunting her and her daughter, once they know that they're there. The Airons will come first, looking to conqure earth, and the Valorians will send a Protector to stop them.

The Protector will both be trying to stop the Airon invasion while at the same time trying to kill the Mother and Daughter.

The Airons on the other hand will be out to conquer the earth, kill the Protector and kill the Mother and Daughter.

The Mother and Daughter will be trying to protect the Earth while staying alive by any and all means possible.

The Earth will just be caught in the middle of this three way war, while having top chose sides.

Could be a great story... as far as the questions posed, a Velorian can most definitely get pregnant with an Arion Prime, but not by anyone lesser.

(Human men don't do well when they are, ah, shall we say, "deeply committed", with a very hot Velorian woman who has a few thousand times their strength and is in the grip of an orgasm so intense that the pleasure and excitement alone would literally burst a human woman's heart! I leave the details to your imaginations, but Vels are the queens of the galaxy when it comes to intense orgasms. But I digress.)

The idea of them coming to Earth to hide (given its an "off-limits planet" for Velorians and Arions), but the Arions and Velorians pursue her anyway. As I see it, they both lay claim to the child for different reasons, and once the Arions are here on Earth (given the Velorians broke the Prime Directive on non-interference first) they might as well bring Earth into the Empire while they are at it.

We Terrans will have to pick a side, although it pretty much takes a tactical nuke to impress an Arion Prime or a Protector, so the fighting will definitely have its share of collateral damage, no matter where Earth comes down.

I like the idea of the Velorians and Arions both being viewed as hostile and extremely dangerous aliens by the people on Earth. Both of the Supremis races have their story of why their side is the better side to join (security, tremendous prosperity and elimination of most diseases, life extension, etc. courtesy of the scientifically-advanced Arion Empire, versus self-determination and non-interference but no improvement in our lifestyle or health by the scientifically backward Velorian Enlightenment). As I see it, the Arions have gotten smarter and now present a deal that's compelling to humans... all we have to do is give up our right to self-determination and we'll be healthy and rich.

The classic case of making a deal with the devil.

Anyway, the fighting would be legendary with nothing less than the future of Earth in balance.

How old were you thinking of making the renegade Protector's daughter? Old enough to be part of the fight?

(Which I guess would be anything over about 3 years of age, now that I think of it. A 3 year old who could hit you with a Honda would be an interesting opponent, at least for the humans. Or a ten year old that could do the same with a main battle tank.)

To start off with, they REALLY didn't mean to come to Earth at all. It was all due to a running massive space battle that ended in, for them, an uncontrolled warp that litterly spat them out in an uncontrolled path near the Earth in a horrible condition, well for their space ship at least. And as to how old for the daughter? Well, as AMUSING as a super powered three year old could and would be, I probably will be bowing to my need to cater to fan service and make her in her early to mid teens to start off with. This story will take place over a great many years, but... I'd probably start her off between thirteen to sixteen, when the pests arive. I do plan on write some back story, well a lot of back story before that happens.

I just have a few problems with trying to write this story. One is I don't feel I'm a good enough writer yet, but I've come to realize that will ALWAYS be they case. We truly are our own worse critics. Two is, and I know it for a fact, I WILL BUTCHER THE AU WITH THIS STORY! No if ands or buts about it, I would have to make it in my own little AU version of the AU, because it will never fit in with ANY of the cannon AU timelines or universes. ANd I don't know just how exceptable that that would be. ANd three is, even though I HAVE read a LOT of the AU stories, and even though I would be making this an AU of the AU, I still don't feel I know ENOUGH about the AU to actually write this.

So, once I get over my stupid hang up with problem number one, and do the reserch nesessary to solve number three, I 'll hopefully get to writing this. Problem number two will jsut have to solve it's self. Heh.

Well, thanks for the interest, bye for now.

Anything you want to know about the AU, just ask. Or if you like, I can scan through a rough draft or outline and help.

And despite the fact that I invented the original AU, dozens of writers over the last 15 years have introduced many twists and turns. It's always been an open universe. Even more, there's always been a tacit expectation that every writer added a little to the lore. Sometimes that's done deliberately, and sometimes by accident, but it doesn't really matter.

One writer, Tarot, even created an alternate version of the universe so he could change things even more freely.

AK morphed off into an entirely different and interesting direction.

Etc, etc.

So no worries. You can't break anything.

Hmm, NOT having to worry about breaking anything is good. Hmh, I guess after I get over my severe case of the flu I'll take my first crack at writing this. I mean I HAVE been putting it off long enough so...

And I'll probably take you up on that offer shadar.
