Super 8, with a Super

Hey, loved the film Super 8 and was thinking after seeing it, what if their was a similar story but instead the alien is of course a superpowered kryptonian equivalent. Obviously the normal group of people in this story would be older, college aged, but generally the same a bunch of geeky friends. A superwoman escapes from a train or airplane crash and befriends one of them. The military is obviously looking for her, but so is another superwoman.

Thoughts?

It reminds me of a WonderWoman reboot fantasy I had years ago.
A group of or one really mean scoflaw Amazon escapes prison on Paradise island to come to our world and Wonder Woman in this story is a police detective sent to hunt down the rogue amazon or amazons and make nice with our world. It's kind of like the Super 8 thing turned inside out, exept for I never wrote the thing and really never decided wether the rouge amazon or WonderWoman the cop, were the real heroine, maybee some folks could side with one and other folks the other, and make it kind of existential. Just a thought.
