A few story ideas
The Amulet of Fantasy
Ok, the title is a work in progress as it doesn't have to be an amulett. It's more a premise than a real story and the idea came to me for the Fall 2011 Workshop "What if...?". It was loosely based on the story of Last Action Hero where a young boy uses a magical cinema ticket to enter the newest installment of his favorite movie series parodying the related tropes along the way. In this case, the female main character somehow gains a magical item to either enter a movie or make things come out of the movie - but with superhero movies instead. This would start with the girl being bitten by a
A new job
This idea came after the topic for the next shortstory workshop was decided (but for some reason the workshop itself has yet to start
Woman needs money (for college) and applies for a job (e.g. at a bar) that seems riduculiously overpaid. Of course she has to prove herself for this job and soon learns that somethings not right with the job. Her colleagues are all incredibly hot women that sometimes seem to defy the laws of physics, the work itself is far too hard for her as well as mentally taxing, her getting robbed etc. In the end it turns out that her colleagues are a well-known superheroine team looking for a new member to give powers too...
A benevolent genie
What good is a genie when he twists every wish to the point that the wisher suffers or even dies? The main character is a hostage whose kidnappers find a magic lamp an naturally a genie appears to fulfill one wish per person. Several twisted wishes later the hostage is the only living person left alive and has to state a wish of her own. She tries to wish for world piece but the genie refuses because (s)he can only directly affect the wisher ruling out any kind of altruistic wish. The main character then wishes for a long and healthy life. The genie let's her leave but soon it becomes clear that the genie did twist the wish to her favor...

The amulet is a pretty good start and I would love to see where it can go. I had a similar idea but it had a more horrorific angle (strange since I'm no fan of horror).
The new job sound a bit more predictable and has one major limitation: the Clark Kent effect. Meaning, how long can a superbeing keeps his/hers abilities secret?
I've tried to write something about this, but it didn't work very well.
The genie has been used as a plot device a couple of time already (CF's Milena and one Whitepaw's stories from the Bank come to mind), but it might be interesting.

For example: Girl gets in adventures of superman "A Bolt from the Blue" episode and duplicate herself superman's powers! And then duplicate them to Lex or lois or jimmy causing chaos and came back to her dimension to have fun with her family-friends-boyfriend etc...

This can also be an opportunity. If the main character realizes that her future colleagues are super she may think of herself as not being fit for the job, as she's inferior to them in every - in her eyes - important aspect. Adding a rival character may spice things up here as well, as she may see through the test faster and tries to use this to her advantage (namely: playing the nice girl just to get super powers).
Another variant might be that the job involves dressing up as a superheroine, like a cosplay bar. The main character may think any signs of being super are part of a show instead of them being the real deal. It would take the "today I'm going as myself" part up to eleven and allows for the possibility of a legacy character.

This was part of the reason I didn't follow this theme, either. Genies (or wishes in general) are often used for this, so the only new part would be that an otherwise malevolent genie decides to twist a wish for the users benefit. I also thought about a variant (almost forgot this one) where the not so nice main character uses the genie's inability to affect her personality by wishing to be a superhero but using the granted superpowers to cause trouble instead. Of course, there's a twist.
The Amulett of Fantasy is a great idea!!! I had it in my mind many years now after watching the Last Action Hero movie. It is not necessary to be a movie,it can be a tv serie or a comic!!!
For example: Girl gets in adventures of superman "A Bolt from the Blue" episode and duplicate herself superman's powers! And then duplicate them to Lex or lois or jimmy causing chaos and came back to her dimension to have fun with her family-friends-boyfriend etc...
I've got no problems with a TV series here, but I think using comics would be risky. Personally I didn't grow up reading them and all these connections inside the two big universes can become quite confusing to say the least. It's my personal opinion, though. Then again, the "girl steals Superman's powers"-scenario isn't really that innovative around here, so it would be better to use another scenario.

The bar idea reminds me of part of a Marknew story, but that was a small part of a larger story. Using this setting for a whole story sounds like fun.
Good luck on both.
