Diamond star and what to make of it

Diamond star and what to make of it was created by Woodclaw
This morning I stumbled upon an article about star BPM 37093 (a.k.a. "Lucy", more on that later) a star 50 light years from our little mudball that is, apparently, built around a giant carbon-based crystallized core. This pretty much makes it one gigantic diamond of sort. This was actually part of the plot of "Count to a Trillion" by sci-fi writer John C. Wright, based on the white dwarf core crystallization theory that has been around since the '60s.
This immediately reminded me of one of the entries in CF's Blogger series where the main character dived into Jupiter's atmosphere and discovered a massive diamond inside.

Now the big question is: what would a superwoman do with a diamond the size of a moon?

I "borrowed" the idea from Arthur C Clarke: "The core of Jupiter, forever hidden beyond mankind's reach, was a diamond as big as the Earth".
No idea what the uses of such a big jewel are. A projectile for planetary destruction? All my character did was carve "Blogger was here" into the diamond with her fingernail...

EDIT: She also used another part of her body. Of course she did... It's here if anyone cares: evilsupergirls.com/stories/blogger/arc2005-11.html (Entry for Nov 21st 2005).

F. Scott Fitzgerald's story "The Diamond as Big as the Ritz" is about a mountain-sized diamond somewhere in Montana (I think) and the man who's been keeping it secret while growing rich from it. And in one of Lord Dunsany's stories (I forget the title), Jorkens tells of the time he came upon an enormous diamond meteorite in the Siberian forest, only to lose it when a spring thaw softens the frozen ground and it sinks out of sight.
