The Dunwich Horror

For those of you who are unfamiliar with H.P. Lovecraft’s work, that story was about a bizarre alien God-thing’s half-human children, who attempted to bring their father and the rest of his/it’s pantheon to Earth.  There are obvious parallels to Raven, with the main differences being that both children actively worship the entity, who isn’t really evil any more than stepping on a bug, if that, is evil.  A parody with a female hybrid that plays up the similarities could be interesting.

Not sure what you'll get with more bumps, since you've already got 700 views and nobody has added to the idea. There may not be enough people who are familiar with Lovecraft, what sounds like a Gnostic theme story here, and Raven. If you see some interesting possibilities to play up, why not write up a short story yourself to show us what you have in mind, and how it works? A short story wouldn't need all the background filled in, only enough to get into the scene, have some kind of plot twist, and wrap it up.
