Normal girl to Supergirl - My favourite stories. Any others like them?

I was re-reading a few of my favourite superheroine/Supergirl stories tonight. I noticed a few common themes:

- a normal girl transforming into a super heroine - normally Supergirl
- the Supergirl costume
- an enhanced version of a normal body - fit, not ultra muscular; enviable boobs, not oversized; that kind of thing
- strong… but not lifting a tank with a finger and launching into space
- conflict with normal, everyday men. I really the idea of her overpowering a normal man

So anyhow, to give you an idea of my favourite stories, here they are:

Corruption - The first chapter by luchodemeyer, and followed up by the original Hiker Angel. Incredible writing in all four (plus alt) chapters and captures that transformation perfectly. This, I think, is my all time favourite story. Both authors do a wonderful job of describing their absolute dominance over the rest of mankind.

Again, Hiker Angel is able to describe the beautification of the new Supergirl absolutely wonderfully.

Of course there are so many… but one of the reasons I wanted to post this evening is because I’m really keen to read more stories like them. If you are able to share any stories that feature a normal girl transformed into a super heroine (preferably like Supergirl) who has to struggle with her new powers, her new beauty, etc… I’d love to hear of them.

Hello!Johnx.I totally agree with you. I don't like big muscles either. I also like your article very much, but you haven't updated it for a long time, and I can't find many old chapters. I wonder when you will update it next time

I have to say these are my favorite kind of stories as well. The goddess stuff can be a fun once in a while but I love a more grounded story. If anyone has more recommendations of similar stories I'd appreciate it a lot

I personally enjoy all the same themes you described; especially the classic Supergirl costume.

Just to add, I really love the part where the girl explores her new powers. I love the feeling of glee as she suddenly discovers some new ability. I love when she tests it out a bit and experiments on her environment (maybe breaking a few things). I especially love the feeling of pushing herself to see how powerful she really is. Like when she blows out a little and notices her super breath, only to then blow as hard as she can and knock over a bunch of trees or something. That really excites me.

If you do comics or videos again I think you should do a transformation in like the one your describing!

This weekend's new stories include "Amy's Isle of Wisdom, Parts 1 and 2." I enjoyed them. I think you'll love them. They are exactly what you describe, especially the payoff in Part 2.
