Superheroine costume mash up was created by Woody
I pose the following question to the forum
if you were to create a heroine using different Costume elements from other existing heros what would you choose?
to make it a little easier break it down to the following
hair/face - includes and tiaras, earrings, headgear
Torso and arms
pants/skirt
boots / shoes
for example
Wonder Woman's head and tiara
Ms marvel torso and Black gloves
Supergirls skirt
Mary marvels strappy sandals
thanks

I think Helen Slater in her costume is the definitive Supergirl (Melissa as Kara doesn't match up. Melissa's acting abilities may be better, but it is almost like comparing Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman to a second-rate Cathy Lee Crosby.)
There is just no comparison.

What a fun topic! While I think a little about my answer, I'm getting popcorn to see what others say.

But if it was up to me, I'd go with a short red hip-hugging skirt, calf high boots with a bit of a cutout in back, a bare midriff and a tight blue tunic that came down to the base of her ribs, along with a 70's/80's style red choker that attaches a short, red cape. That would be great on a girl with some awesome abs and overall high fitness level. If I was doing a mash up of styles, that would be my choice, albeit very Supergirl centric.
On the flip side, coming from the end of the Peter David run of Supergirl comics, we have Superman's wife and mother of his child, the merger of Matrix and Peter's Linda Danvers. This costume works for me too, as does her history.

I largely agree... Helen gave us what I think should be the classic costume.I think Helen Slater in her costume is the definitive Supergirl (Melissa as Kara doesn't match up. Melissa's acting abilities may be better, but it is almost like comparing Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman to a second-rate Cathy Lee Crosby.)
