I like the idea. Young, inexperienced and shy, perhaps the last because she’s always had to hide what she is, but during the moments when she lets loose, she goes overboard before shrinking back into shy.Anyone else kind of interested by the idea of a woman strong enough to literally move mountains also being incredibly shy?
I would love to see such a story written from the POV of some guy her age who has always known her as very shy, but who suddenly sees her do something very super, even if she denies it at first. But as their friendship grows, he realizes he’s dealing with a girl with two very different natures who could either save or destroy the world.
Does he help her out off her shell and get beyond her shyness, or does he encourage her to stay hidden to protect others (or some twist on that).

I think Lois Lane as Ultra Woman would fit her persona perfectly. She has to deal with her super-powered secrets as a journalist, with the knowledge that Clark knows her secrets. It is a pity her new-found powers only lasted for one single episode.

Only problem with Lois in this scenario is that I don't think anyone has EVER described her as "shy". <grin>
More like nosy and pushy. Traits of a good journalist.

Slightly paraphrasing what Stefanie Beatriz said about doing VA for a badass character: "Being a badass is about the space you decide to take up, not how large or small you are".Anyone else kind of interested by the idea of a woman strong enough to literally move mountains also being incredibly shy?

Ella temiendo soltar su poder y encerrando se en si misma. mientras que el al buscar su Alma Gemela lucha por abrirse a ella, no porque vuele, tenga superfuerza, si no por que ve en ella que si la salva el se salva también.
La idea me gusta y creo que puede tener dos finales, uno feliz,, juntos y otro, como decia una cancion española de los 80;
"TRISTEZA DE AMOR. UN JUEGO CRUEL. JUZGANDO A GANAR, HAS VUELTO A PERDER"
I like that idea. A variation would be, if the boy was also shy or timid. And saw in her a similar being. To later discover that with just one finger, she can sink a continent or by sneezing she can eliminate the atmosphere.
She fearing to release her power and closing in on herself. while searching for his Soul Mate, he struggles to open up to her, not because he flies, has super strength, but because he sees in her that if he saves her, he saves himself too.
I like the idea and I think it can have two endings, one happy, together and the other, as a Spanish song from the 80s said;
"SADNESS OF LOVE. A CRUEL GAME. JUDGING TO WIN, YOU HAVE LOST AGAIN"

You could look into a very young Kara, whose abilities were accidentally uncovered as she ripped a crashed car apart to rescue people before it exploded behind her as she threw her body in the way to protect survivors. Some school classmate at the beach that day figured out who she and her sister really were and tried to use his knowledge to free his dad from prison.The other kids might think it was cool if she had an occasional display of unusual strength. If any of them witnessed a superstrength disaster, they might be rightfully terrified. Accidental building collapse, sneezing and making a town sized crater, etc. She might be sensitive to getting shunned for being unusual.

That's all from Melissa Benoist's series, isn't it?

Yes, the son of the prisoner he tried to free with the knowledge of Kara, by using her sister as a hostage had to have his memory wiped of the very existence of a young Kara's escapades in dealing with the car accident by the beach.
