First Story
I have decided to write my first story. Since it is my first and English isn't my first language it would be great if someone here could proofread, come with suggestions and spot errors. It would be a plus if I could bounce some ideas too. I have soon written the first chapter of at least 8, and have the main story pretty much figured out.
The plot is an origin story of a not so "villain friendly" super-girl. Something neither the existing super-girl or the city's police department like.
There is a degree of violence but shouldn't be too much in detail.

I doubt it would work that well. There's nothing stopping you from writing in another language, but as pansardum pointed out, the audience shrinks accordingly.

Not exactly... Just an example. There are no site dedicated to Ubberwomen in Portuguese (and don't matter if it is European or Brazilian Portuguese) and I know there are some Brazilian ubberfans which come here from time to time, but they aren't that frequent due lack of material in portuguese. I guess the same happens with French genre fans and even from other Euro=zone countries.
