Here's an entertaining fan film I stumbled upon.

She might lack the costume but I still think it's an interesting clip.

What's your opinion?

This is pretty cool.

Was having a long conversation with a very obstinate fight choreographer this afternoon- about his very brutal style, and his desire to show every god damm thing in his stunt reel- he wanted it to be both 1 minute long and not a cut a damm thing. Yet it didn't really have an idea.

The reason i brought it up What struck me was how well it conveyed its idea-withouth showing very much at all. The fight scene was maybe 30 seconds. And had a great simple through line-it just showed the girl of steel without having to overdo or have costumes. Its a very simple scene. The girl just was that much more powerful then other people around her.

Which i liked. The CIA Stuff was well done to-a lot of tell, but it did a good job of just conveying what it was trying to tell.

It did what a good short fan film really should do sometimes-it made me want to watch the movie.

This is two different movies. A very well done conversation between two women and a very well done fight scene. Neither of which had anything to do with the other.

Well as i kept trying to tell that fight Cordintator, if you put two scenes next to each other they start to have a conversation. The first scene is all about giving us vauge hints that something is special about the girl. The fight is about showing that-(in a restained manner). The final bit does the same. There is abit of slightly non linner editing(when temporally does the fight happen?) but i would say yeah its all the same.

It was very nice. Thanks for posting. Only complaint, which I'm sure we all share, is that I would have liked to have seen her in costume.

Actually i would comment this was fine for me.

There is a truism in this media. Thes scenes out of costume give realism to those that don't. As a 5 minute video this was okay-i think with the way this is paced i would have liked to see a costume around minute 25.

I'm a guy who stopped watching Smallville after awhile, more or less precisly becuse of this- but there they did scenes when they should be in costume-and it was never very good. This one just didn't have that. Which is everything to its credit. Its all basic setup to a movie that doesn't exist-but its a good little short.

Definitely looking forward to this as well. I reached out to their crew and they are now members of the site so maybe we'll hear some more details.
