Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart are twentysomethings who are part of that strange new class of "YouTube Celebrities" who've already worked together on the 2014 VOD film Camp Takota. This is them:

As i have said before I do think Youtube is an interesting space for these kinds of videos, and electra woman is the kind of very small property that could work well here

A couple of years ago they tried to make this a pilot with Markie Post-that kind of failed in a kind of mean Spirited mess(though i have posted the youtube link to it on here before, and i can't hate it(. The original 70s show-had a charm to it. It was a very low Rent Clone of Batman made for young children-and as such going back to it, theres some charm to it. If they can capture a touch of that, they could be something fun here.

I think this would be better if they try to do things like get Fight Coreography-but if they don't that could be okay as the original never had much of that to begin with

And Hope Sig Haig is involved somehow.

I wonder if they will reboot the series to give the heroines some more organic superpowers. From what I recall, in the original show, they just used gadgets and some martial arts.

As long as they stay true to the original and far away from that awful Markie Post pilot I'll be happy.

Went to a confrence on Film Locations for productions and went to a discussion the producers guild put on about Transmedia(specifically how studios use this). This in short wasn't a meeting of SWM maniacs..

And randomly towards the end they discussed this project was discussed- Aparently its kind of a big thing-they are taking two youtube stars paring them with sid and kroft and the people involved with this for a living are kind of curious how it will all turn out.

I'm kind of curious to, since i am working on a project with a kind of similar business model.

Today was of course big news all over the internet about something something, i don't know some kind of girl....but its curious this kind of small project maybe bigger then i thought.

Oh well, it was only a dream.
They are not smiling like the originals used too.
Looks like they are going snarky and sarcastic.

And in fairness, The original wasn't the most smiling show either.

No matter how silly the Music Meister or any one was, *they* took it seriously-and i can respect that.

I kind of like the look myself. When people do costumes and comedies these days theres a lot "of hey this is a cheep dimestore costume with badly placed eyehole masked look"-see Defendor, or Super or a couple of others. This as good as Supergirl, but looks compentenly done enough.
