That Supergirl Fan Film....

Thanks for the heads up.. liked, subscribed and commented on his channel She's a real badass..NICE!! When that goon grabs her from behind, it's to bad she didn't just flex her chest muscles and tear his arm off haha... ah well like the Rolling Stones sing,"You can't always get what you want..."

My thoughts on this: Liked the fighting and it did a good job as an action video. The Actress is talented. .but the super-girl stuff felt minimal which you know sokay but at times it felt like they really didn't care an iota about concept a building a character or anything l And maybe the script felt a little inside baseball for fight choreography stuff.

This from the guy who did First Impressions, a pretty good Wonder Woman Fan Film from awhile back that had fun with its premise. And for full disclosure i vaugely know them in real life-
But this felt like we had a supergirl costume, an afternoon and a joke that to a couple of guys in fight crews think is funny(guys guys SUPERMAN PUNCHES). I wish perhaps they spent a little more time with it And i do agree i hope she gets a better project to show it off.

I think i'm going to be "that guy".

She's awesome, and the fight is awesome.

But....and I hate to say this about someone so skilled who did a fantastic job of what she was doing:

Sorry, this is NOT Supergirl. Supergirl doesn't have to fight like that. For example, she wouldn't dodge someone throwing a shovel (esp to have it hit someone else, or throw it back and kill someone else), dodge punches, punch people by jumping up an punching down, etc. She wouldn't escape from someone who has grabbed her from behind by struggling forward and pushing off a fence, she'd just shrug them off (or at least grab their hands, and just flip them and turn around and punch them). She's super strong, super fast, and invulnerable. She'd just wade through these guys, lightly punching them and knocking them out.

This is how a skilled, human female would fight, not Supergirl. If his were a Batgirl/huntress/Black Canary clip, absolutely fantastic, and the fight choreography is excellent.

As a Supergirl clip it's horrible fight choreography.

So the entire video didn't work for me.

Maybe I'm just grumpy for some reason.

Glad I watched it though, someone should give her something bigger, as I'd like to see her do more. (Just not more of this.)

I was thinking the same thing ToTdays was.

I felt exactly the same thing Twice!

Put her in a Tomb Raider outfit and BINGO!

Same here. Get that costume off her. She's an insult to the character.

But when it comes to a trained human girl fighting some inept bad guys, it was good. Very Asian though in its choreography. Not a fan.
