Superstrength Coming to KickAssKandy

One of my big regrets is that KAK doesn't do enough stuff with superheroines or superpowers. Well, looks like they have a "superstrength serum" video coming out tomorrow:

I've heard there is another one possibly in the works as well. My hope is that if our community shows support for these, they'll start incorporating uberness more in their videos. Their production and women are top notch and would make great ubergirls. What say you?

I remember when they published Kandy Of Steel (kickasskandy.com/kandy-steel/) which I think was their first video with superstrength.
Superstrength resulted in a throatlift and invulnerability.

I didn't buy that one, and I don't think I'd buy a similar one.
Unfortunately what their audience likes is too different from what I like. I don't like women fighting hand-to-hand, I don't like them beating up uninteresting henchmen and I most especially don't like their straight-out-from-the-70s sound effects. I hate gang fights and whatever comes from them.
A brief mention of superpowers is not enough to make them interesting to me, and that's a pity because their models are smoking hot.

I haven't bought a KAK film in a really long time. Mainly because I was billed in pounds and my bank charged me some type of fee to convert it to dollars. I don't remember the exact details but it made the video much more expensive than i originally thought it would be. Perhaps I'll try it again someday and see what happens...

Agree 100%.....too many videos that are labeled "girl power" are basically "girl fu" videos. Lots of punching and maybe an occasional throatlift, but I think that is a matter of changing perception of the difference between "girl power" and "girl superpower", which I think we can agree is what most of us would prefer to see.

I think also there is some misconception that superpower means big-budget FX. I think a LOT can be done with simple materials and some crafty FX, and I don't mean that halloween "US Steel crowbar" that so people use now....

I'd love to change their minds, as you said -- his girls are top notch!

I'm of the opinion (and it might be a minority opinion) that the power of the protagonist shouldn't completely dwarf the power of the antagonist. That goes not only for superpowered stories/films but for non-superpowered ones as well. I'm fine with the protagonist going through mooks like nothing as a demonstration of power or ability, but when from start to finish it's all about how much more powerful our hero is to anyone else it loses its luster for me. From the video above that's all we saw, but again I realize I might be in the minority as to what I look for in these things. I find the overcoming of obstacles the most interesting aspect of these stories/films and that can be done while still letting the hero be very powerful.

I love the KAK videos - as others have said, the girls are stunning and the costumes are superb - I also enjoy the dry, very British sense of humour they contain. Actually, they have already done a "Wonderkix" film which contains super strength and Kix looked sensational in her Wonder Woman outfit. I shall await with interest to see what this latest film contains.

I've been buying KAK videos and begging Kandyman (creator) to make a bionic "KAK" video since day 1. Talked to him about getting a custom but alas I'm a starving artist :( Anyway, I've always fantasized about Kandygirls being bionic, since they are so beautiful and would look marvelous in slow motion, I'm even planning on asking Kandyman to see what a 1 minute custom would be with one of my favorite girls doing something bionic. That's how desperate I am to have them work on an idea of mine :)

Some of you should join up on the forum over there. I've been there from the beginning and the community is really friendly. Kandyman's a great guy and always engages with fans. I've showed my art for a bionic Vixen idea I had years ago and he even showed it to some of the girls. He said they love my art. I was so flattered. I think I owe Kandyman some fan art. I, too, have been asking Kandyman for more uberness for a while. FWIW, I responded to the latest forum thread (about Kandy Power) in case anyone wants to pile on ;)
