Star Trek Continues....ends! was created by Markiehoe
The Fan project Star Trek Continues, which chronicles the last year of the Enterprises original 5 year mission, has just concluded with a BANG!
There are super women in these last two episodes and I recommend every Star Trek fan and every fan of this site should tune in.
They are free on You Tube
Here is a sneak peak of Lt. Jones/ Smith

I watched the first episode posted and was impressed. I thought I was going to just let it run on the side while I was doing some server re-deployment, but ended up for more engrossed than expected.
It's much better quality than I expected. The acting gets a bit shaky now and then, but it's credible. The special effects fit right into that Star Trek feeling. Even the writing was good. All the places where I'd go "but..." were all VERY Star Trek things ... that is it really does capture that Star Trek feeling and therefore any objections that can be answered by "that's just how it works in Star Trek...." are adequately met. (And by "Star Trek", I mean "Star Trek the original series",)
Vic Mignogna does a good job of feeling like Kirk w/o doing a William Shatner impression. There are similar cadences, but it still seems his own thing rather than trying to duplicate Shatner. He reminds me of Adrian Pasdar. I mean I knew it wasn't him, but i wondered if it was his brother/related.
Took me a second to place Grant Imahara.
I'll watch the next one (and the rest of the season) when I have some time.

Mr. Scott is played by Jimmy Doohan's son and the Romulan Commander is played by the daughter of the original actress to play the role.

Oh my, that girl with the lightning coming out of her hand looks just like the kind of girl I look for at the local bars.
Thanks for the post. I will definitely check this out.
