And, of course, that works well for her as a Ranger in the Picard series. A concept that is right out of Tolkien (Aragorn, or Strider, was of course a Ranger), She protects the weak and helpless in parts of the galaxy where the Law has collapsed. Essentially a vigilante, but she's also got her own agenda.

To the point... ...but can't disagree. She's matured really well - and I've found her acting to be on point so far.
The show is a little X-Men meets Stat Trek meets the Babylon 5 Rangers/Crusade spinoffs but frankly so far it's well done and I've enjoyed it. I could do without the cursing and some of the edge so I could share it with more people but two thumbs up so far. I can't say the same about Discovery - not even bothering.

Its enjoyable enough, if I drop the "Star Trek" aspect of it and imagine it as generic sci-fi show #345225 But it hasn't gripped me. I find way to many similarities to other shows, Firefly especially, and the characters just don't seem that great (Elrond in space, wtf???)
I do agree though, Jeri Ryan still looks great at 50+ years of age Gotta love those "borg implants"
Will probably stick with the show til then end of season 1 (only 5 to go so not bad). Not sure if I will return for season 2 though.
I'm with you on Discovery Random, never bothered after the pilot, and never will
Peace.

And in the fictional universe, she has all these Borg implants that ensure that nothing sags or wrinkles.

Seven of Nine was always insanely hot. Loved her.

Wait until the season completes. They currently release an episode a week in old-fashioned network style, but I'm sure it'll be bingeable at the end of the season. I think we're in the middle now.

Thanks, I was just looking for when it'd be "done' so I could just binge it all. Looks like 10 episodes and 5 was just released, episode 10 is due March 26, 2020.
Though sometimes "binging" for me is "one episode a day until it's done". Depending on the show I like slowing the pace out, you get to enjoy thinking about the episodes/etc, but don't have to wait a whole week to get the next one. Expanse was much more enjoyable that way.
I should set a calendar reminder for march 17 to "buy CBS all access" and one a day right into the last episode.
That plan also lets me plan out that I should cancel some other streaming service to make room. At some point I have to do Disney + for Mandalorian, but figured I'd wait until we had some Marvel TV goodness and I could be in for multiple shows.

I'm also a "one episode per day" person when it comes to bingeing. As you say, that allows some reflection and anticipation and discussion. But the weekly viewing rate is painful. I might wait until the end for Season 2 of Picard and Mandaloran.

I think she looks better in 2019, at least given these two photos.
The reason she moves with a smooth, athletic grace in Picard may be due to more than exercise.
In Next Gen, she had to wear a tight corset and a massively uplifted bra to get that "better than human weightless boobs look", and she was pretty hemmed in by both. I thought her stiff movements in Next Gen was a Borg character thing, but likely she was all she could do being all wrapped up and so forth.
But now she's free to move in a more natural, feminine way, and it's pretty intriguing to watch -- if you're into body language and all.

I also hope they figure out what to do with Elnor. I like him and his character but this kind of character is hard to write/integrate so I hope they don't blow it. They are doing okay with Raffi - so I have hope.
I waited to subscribe so I would watch the the finale and only get hit by two billing cycles.
