Hello there and welcome to SuperWomenMania. Thanks for introducing yourself before posting your advert to your website. Thanks for contributing to this free forum. Thanks for your general f*** you attitude to the people who maintain and pay for this forum and have built up the membership to the point that you think it's worth spamming them.

Can any of our CONTRIBUTING members suggest a reason why this post (and its sister one also in the Links forum should not be erased, and the poster banned from SWM)?

Seeing that it's peril related, it doesn't belong here. :x

Your site is cheesy, and you're a rat.

This is a forum for people who LOVE superheroines. You HATE them.

Is there some part of that you don't understand?

Ouch! Harsh response!

Ok, so I can understand admin being a little upset that superheroinebabes came in here and posted a link, with little or no knowledge of this site, and without taking the time to get to know the "locals".

And as Ultragirl and Brantley pointed out, "peril" sites aren't really a popular theme among the SWM crowd. Just to clarify, since superheroinebabes doesn't seem to realize and understand that point, I'll explain.

SWM is a place for people who like seeing powerful women completely dominating those around them. The only room for bondage on this side of the fantasy is if the superwoman decides she wants to tie someone up. But most of the time, she's in such complete control that bondage would just be redundant. So obviously, sites that show the superheroines getting tied up are considered bad, and sites where they're sexually molested are a thousand times worse. The superwomen are supposed to be respected and feared, not violated that way.

That said, the site in the other thread has a lot of galleries of free pictures, many just of women posing in costumes, without any bondage or anything. For instance, he's got pictures of Mandi Steele under the Powergirl link (hopefully with her permission?). So it's not completely off topic here, IMHO.

That said, Admin doesn't appreciate people advertising sites here purely as spam. Try hanging out here a while, take part in the conversations, comment and vote on the workshop stories, maybe even write your own story to contribute. Then your link posts will be better appreciated, rather than resented as spam.

I'd be in favor of letting these threads stay here, for any who might be interested in these sites, and just giving superheroinebabes a stern warning. But, of course, it's Admin's decision. I'm just trying to break up this flame war before Ultragirl or Blogger pulls out the heat vision...

He can't leap tall buildings, and I don't think his elevator goes to the top floor (Did he think starting TWO threads would get him more attention?).

I'll let Mandi or Bully Pup speak to whether he has permission to use any of Mandi's pictures. As for his gee whiz, aren't all superheroines in peril, he doesn't seem to understand that there is a difference between peril as a plot device (see Shadar's excellent new story BLIND JUSTICE) and peril as just a fetish (superwomen being bound and gagged and abused for the kind of "men" who get off on that sort of thing).

'Tis a pity he's an idiot.

Ok, at the risk of getting a hatchet to the head. He does have Mandi and Adara's permission. And, though there is a lot of peril content, (Which I don't like either) if you look though the site, there is also a lot of content that's not. Now, that said, I also agree with Admin in that he probably should have made nice with natives, before building his highway through their village.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Yes, you did something wrong. You posted 2 adverts on our forum without manking any other contribution, with a username that itself is an advert. You made no attempt to introduce yourself to our community, to find out what this forum is all about or any other courtesy.

Other "pluggers" here (and it's not everyone else - the vast, vast majority of our members have no website to plug) contribute to the discussions, provide artwork for our imagebank, and generally get involved in our community.

I will not calm down and relax. You please apologise.

Alrighty then...........
For those I have offended. I AM SORRY. I saw the word "LINKS" and didn't read much further and thought, ok links are welcome. So I posted them. There is some peril, but also a lot of my favorite comic art which I LOVE and thought it was ok. Now that I have read all the feedback, the basic incredient I have just had beaten into the side of my head is "NO PERIL" "NO PAYSITES" "NO PLUGS". ok. GOT IT. I didn't mean to "set up camp in the village without getting to know the locals" as it were. I guess I came off too foward or pushy?

I suspect MandiSteele, Adara are welcome because they are classy, and sexy superheroines. I AGREE. All the steele girls are HOT. I LOVE them too.

This is an open discussion board to discuss I guess Fantastic 4, Catwoman Halle Berry, who you'd like to see an your favorite wonder woman stuff like this. That being said, here is a new link of a NON-PERIL site. This Catwoman is HOT.

Let me know if you like it. Your feedback is welcome.

Her name is Amber Moelter. I didn't see this link in this forum. If it is a repost or old news. I apologize.

Thanks everyone. I look foward to becoming one of the gang and hope you all welcome me with open arms.

Hello,
I want to say that I'm glad you cleared up the fact that you aren't into peril stuff because that is certainly not welcomed here. It is unfornatelt that stuff like that exists out there, the demoralizing of a female like that is uncalled for and unforgivable. But, now that we know you are one of us, welcome aboard. :)

Secondly, I would like to say the Catwoman link you provide looks very interesting. I dont' know two many females who could do their own stunts like the girl in this one does, and her costume looks great. I hope when this Catwoman's released, we see her kicking butt and taking names! -as well as I hope she has a alter-ego too, to me, that is very important for superheroines- But, overal, great link and let me be the first to say, welcome to our little group. :D

At the risk of getting my head taken off, I am going to jump in here. This is a site that I have enjoyed. I have also had it booked marked for a long time. There is a lot of great stuff there for free. Yes, there are several "click on banners" to peril sites. It is like going to a 14 theater movie complex. There may be two XXX movies playing there, but no one puts a gun to your head to make you buy a ticket to those instead of Super Ex.

I understand that some people take a stand on not doing business with
anyone who engages in anything that they don't like (Pro life, Pro choice,
Jewish, Muslim, Left handed whatever). But it is a very good resource
and if you know which links to follow, you can even find a very nice (my opinion) picture of Mrs. Ace in her Super Suit (which will help you understand while I strictly follow her rules about pay sites).

I do have a suggestion. There is a very nice banner that gets rotated from time to time with Bruce Timm style supergirls (including Super Lois in her yellow and green outfit). Perhaps a donation of a couple of those to
the LFan Gallery would be a nice gesture to smooth things over (and of course I could look at it when ever I wanted too).

There just banners. I get some that like the banners, and some that don't but there should be nothing ovber PG13 on there. If there is, please let me know so I can remove it.

I enjoy classy, sexy, seductive photos the best. (NO NUDITY) I don't want nudity on my site. That's why the banners are there. If you wanted harder, peril and stuff like that I refer you to them (the banenrs) not me.

I'm a big comic book nut and have always enjoyed comics ever since I was a kid. I think Batman 1966 is my ALL time favorite. I only got to see it it in rerun (before my time) but Julie Newmar is the BEST! She's so darn sexy and classy. Hopefully someday I'll meet her and get her autograph.

I saw Julie Newmar a year or two ago at a Chiller Thaatre show in New Jersey. Must be in her 70's, but still classy and elegant.

I have an idea kicking around in my head. I ABSOLUTELY loved Julie Newmar in that 1960s catwoman role and would LOVE it if someone could/would draw or do an animated cartoon series based on the 1960s batman version and have the ORIGINAL actors for the voice overs for the their old roles. I know today they are all too old to be running around in tight but with the magic of todays computer animation I'll bet someone out there in Hollywood could do a FANTASTIC replica or even BETTER today in 2005. I enjoy the current JLA on the cartoon network. SO much better than the superfriends from the 70s (even though I enjoy that as well). I KNOW I would watch it and buy a DVD.

Woah.
Anyone notice that the vids section of the whats new area for this site has been shut for 'copyright' reasons?

Anyone know what the deal is here?
Is it out of action for good or just a few days or what?
