God, I remember buying that Ms Marvel comic in the spring of 1977 and having a boner on all the way home!

That's funny as Hell, because I had the exact same reaction when I bought the comic! <grin>.

Those early Ms Marvels were awesomely well drawn, and decently written.

They really were well-drawn though, as a 13 year old with "certain interests," I was ultimately disappointed in how few acts of effortless brute strength appeared in them. And I much preferred the original consume. It was SO sexy.

Agree on that first red and black costume... absolutely perfect. And as far as feats of strength or whatever we like as individuals, the mainstream comics never focus in the right places, but instead get it right only once in a while. Hazards of having narrow areas of interest.

I decided over time that since I couldn't draw, I could at least write what I liked, and find the odd picture that could be adapted and written into the story. That was fine for me.

When movies and TV shows came along, and I was around 30 when the WW TV show came out, I was disappointed to the point of skimming hoping for that odd scene or moment. The stories they were trying to tell really weren't my style.

Nothing has really changed. SG TV is a little better given it features a character I like the show better than WW, but the stories and themes and Kara's actions are rarely interesting and often oft-putting.

In the end, there is only one answer. Write it yourself. Or if you have money, talent and a high frustration threshold, make your own videos.

Follow your passion, not someone else's, or so I see it.
