Supergirl Timeslot Announced was created by lfan
According to Deadline, the Timeslot has been set but we're gonna have to wait a few more months.
Supergirl is set to take over the 8:00 Monday Timeslot starting in November. Looks like they gonna possibly tag team it with Big Bang Theory when the comedy goes on hiatus.

Not exactly, but close. It's a football thing. CBS's Thursday night NFL games are only on for about eight weeks, and during that time, The Big Bang Theory airs on Mondays. When the football games are over, Big Bang returns to Thursdays, making room for our girl.
It's a nice slot, having it as a lead-in to Scorpion is about as good a move as CBS could make.

Thats nice set design. I am not sure if it is a set or a location(probably a set) but regardless its quite well done. Like the scale of the desk compared to Flockhearts famoulsly small body, and the way it seems very interior designed and white, but that someone has added human touches(like the purell). The large number of TV monitors behind her seem...very comibooky but well what can you do.
If they can bring a similar vibe to the rest of the show thats something.

The only problem I see here is that it's going to air opposite of Gotham, which could dilute the direct viewership. Execs still believe in live numbers over DVR viewership, and if more people are recording Supergirl and watching Gotham when it airs, it could lead to a crisis mode at CBS.

True, but I would think that if it initially airs in November, it should be running new episodes after sweeps when most other shows, including Gothem are on winter hiatus and airing repeats. That might not make it a direct head to head for every week, though I'm sure there will be some overlapped competition
