Following up on the Supergirl comicbook timeline, I've now embarked on documenting the CBS show in a similar fashion, but there's a few things I want help with.
- First, the Featured facet documents interesting recurring aspects of each episodes that fans might want to search for. These might include Kryptonite, or an appearance by Superman. It might also include common plot devices like flashbacks to Kara's past or super power loss. Obviously things that happen every or most episodes (like flying or heat vision) don't need to be recorded. I need help working out the kinds of things that fans might want to look up -- what kind of stuff is important..? Keep in mind this page will be promoted to a regular audience, so stuff like "tied up" or "burning matches between the toes" isn't going to work.
- As well as the synopsis provided by CBS, each episode needs a detailed plot summary -- approx 250 words (or two/three paras), written in good English with an impartial reference book style. If anyone wants to help out, let me know.
- I want to include reference links to useful resources relating to each specific episode (instead of the series in general.) If anyone has any suggestions of sites that frequently generate good materials (preferably unique, rather than just quoting stuff put out by CBS) then let me know.

FYI...
I've done a major update to the CBS Supergirl database page. Enhancements include:
Main: tinyurl.com/sgcbs
Locations: tinyurl.com/sgcbsmap

I've done a major update to the CBS Supergirl database page. Enhancements include:
- Bar charts for both raw and key demographic ratings (for those episodes with Live+7 numbers) so you can get a visual sense of how the show is doing.
- Links from each episode on the main page to the filming locations map page, for convenience.
- An easy to read table of filming locations on the map page, so you don't have to click the map pins.

My first thought was "I'm not near enough of a geek about this show to enjoy a friggin' database." But then I looked at it and I'm hooked. Great work. Entertaining and I'm learning some fun stuff. Very cool. Clearly I'm more than geeky enough.
Filming locations are interesting given I used to live in the LA area (mid-90's) and I know where some of those places are. Explains why some locations looked vaguely familiar in the show.
BTW... 29Feb for EP15 and 14Mar for EP16. So it's not showing this coming Monday?
