Ironically Gemma Atkinson would probably be perfect to play powergirl, she certainly has the right sort of build for it.

Not ironic at all. I suspect the April Fools writer knew exactly how well Gemma would work as a slightly older PG. It's pretty hard to find actresses who could portray an iconic PG.

You need height, you need some muscle, you need someone in fantastic shape and you need short blonde hair. Along with that other required pair of traits which are likely to get her in big trouble, and are damned hard to cast.
