Civil War

Definitely enjoying this story. The writing style is very easy to read. I love how Madison's playfulness makes her sinister. But most of all, the premise is original and creative, which makes story a breath of fresh air. I am looking forward to more! Welcome, TheOne25!

Looking forward to seeing what the other powers are aside from mandatory super strength.

Easy fun read. Some excellent new developments in chapter 3.

The nano tech angle will be interesting to see. Just have never thought of that tech as being a near term reality.

I wonder how many level 3's there are.

Just wanted check in on this story. I enjoyed the first few chapters, and from this thread it's clear that I was not alone. Hoping you might have more in the works!

I've been working on the next few chapters that I hope to upload soon.

I am SO digging Madison right now -- sexy, dangerous, unpredictable and so damn powerful. I love it that she can show kindness toward Charles in one breath, but in the next breath remind him that he's expendible.

She's capable of horrific things but doesn't believe she is a monster. As people go, those are the most frightening kind. Great stuff!

I just read Chapter 5 for the second time, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. Getting the backstory on Madison and Allison makes them much more accessible and adds a human element to the unfolding civil war. I'm really liking these female Evo-3's and can't wait to hear more of them.

I also really like the creativity, the fresh perspective on super-ness, and the dedication to creating a true geo-political thriller, with all the complexity that entails.

As luck would have it, Chapter 5 got posted just before a spate of other story postings: five stories in six days were submitted by me and Willow. I hope people take the time to read this Civil War chapter before it slides further down on the ticker. It's worth the read!

Wondering whatever came of this well written story?  I was reminded of it by reading HikerAngel’s Class of Her Own (which I was enjoying!), which also uses a class system for superpowers.   I found Civil War to be a very fun read, particularly the way that those Class 3 Evo’s intermingled with society and yet existed on a plane above it as well. 

I have to admit that I am developing a thing for Madison.  The fact that she teased me with five chapters, and then withdrew, only makes me more desperate to see her again.

I hope that terrifying Class 3 has some more mischief in store for us, TheOne25!
