Project Super Woman: Super Bella: Security Detail

It has been a while so I'm excited to announce the release of a new video short at Project Super Woman: Super Bella: Security Detail



Bella is such a terrific actor and cosplayer and the supporting cast she helped pull together (other theater kids) made this one fun kind of like a shorter version of "Lost Souls."  It seems every shoot has it's small struggles that suck up time an energy from a *long* freight train that blocked the actors to a shady truck driving training school showing up to use the commercial area cul-de-sac we were using to the endless air traffic going overhead.  However, we really had fun putting this together.

The early reviews are in and they have been positive.  Bella of course carries the entire thing and has the look and poise to be a fun heroine.  The transformation scene has been a big hit.  The improved acting and some of the classic effects I always try to pull off as well.  I also included a few bloopers at the end and a subtitles (.srt) file for our international fans so they can run a translator on them.

Thanks as always for everyone's support to that has kept PSW going.  It's fun pulling this off as just "a guy/fan with a camera."  Check out more screen grabs:  Super Bella: Security Detail

Superb movie Random! Loved all the powers on display and Super Bella is an amazing SG - possibly one of my favourites ever already. She is perfection in that costume and plays the part perfectly too.

Hoping real life doesn't get in the way too much for you and you can make many more movies with Bella as SG.

This is one of the best projects I've seen in a long time that had some pretty darn good stuff, both from you and others. It's one of these rare cases that gives you everything you'd want, but also manages to be very fresh. The effects and soundtrack are very fitting, and the story is surprisingly non-contrived and exciting. Not to mention how much fun everyone seems to have, which makes it even better to watch. 

Of course, it also helps that Bella is simply gorgeous. She just owns the costume.

Thanks so much! It takes a fair amount of consideration to keep things fresh so I'm glad you felt we didn't fall into a rut to do something contrived (I think I need to hang up the bullet to the hand ~ I was already a little worried about that!)

Sound design is something I've been learning more about. I've rushed it in the past, and it's still not easy for me, but I've come to learn you just can't skimp on it if you want something with redeeming quality.

I'm thrilled you called out two things I was specifically wanting to work on in this release. We do have fun (even if when I'm a mess on set trying to learn, produce, and keep to a plan)!

Thank-you for your steadfast support Mo. Her presence in any role just raises the bar and she is so nice to work with. She's a top actress for me to work with too and I hope to again and again.
