Season 3 x 12 For Good (Spoilers)
The world is not in danger this time.
Just two very rich people.
I have to admit I would not thought of escaping from a runaway car the way Edge did.
Completely believable because modern cars are fitted with emergency release levers in the trunk.
Lena's poisoning makes no sense and the death of the hitman makes even less.
Edge tries to kill Lena via poison yet Mrs. Luthor has a sniper in place to take out the hitman?
That one is a head scratcher.
Edge's confession, taken under duress, is inadmissible in court.
I almost thought we would not see Supergirl in costume this entire episode.
Can someone get me a good picture of Lena in the dress she is wearing at the Gala?
I would really appreciate it.
All in all I liked the episode.
Especially the end when Cara points out the World Killer.
"Lets go get her."
Now that is good stuff.

A solid world-building episode I would say. I have a feeling Lillian will be back for the tail end (along with Cademus). Also, building on the Samantha/time loss strand as well.
I really liked the interplay with Sam and Alex in this episode.
Wasn't thrilled to see Guardian back, hopefully its the last time (unless we get to see Reign smash his face).
Also, I found it a bit contrived/convenient that Kara had a "dream" that showed the exact face of the Worldkiller they need to find. How is that possible?? Did I miss something? Is Kara psychic now??
Overall, a filler for sure.
Next weeks looks better
Peace.

P.S. Here you go Markiehoe. Lena (with Kara as a bonus)
Enjoy

I have read one review of this episode already where there was some push back on Lena wearing that dress.

Quite clearly a moron. Or someone jealous they don't have the body to show off in a dress like that. Or gay? /shrug
Not only is Katie McGrath a talented actress and beautiful, she is also a self-confessed geek
"My friend once sculpted me a bust of Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) He's my favorite character in the films after Han Solo. He's that goldfish-type alien in the white costume. 'It's a trap!' I'm a big geek."
Peace.

Every time Sam and Alex are in the same room it's fun "edge of seat" when will she flip fun.
This was certainly a Lena character episode. I'm actually glad the writers are dragging both Reign/Sam and Lena figuring "things" out. I'm looking forward to Lena figuring things out and how that impacts her character/relationship.
I bet this episode was hard on R5 and I. So much blouse time so little transformations. However - I did enjoy the in alter ego action. That was fun: a flying keys catch, super-breath to save/move Edge, flying with Lena (which I thought they might have her eyes open for a moment - but the thought I had a dream later was a nice play), the bouncer punch and one liner.
I had to re-watch the drone/lex-o-suit scene to understand what on earth was going on and what the characters/writers were trying to accomplish with Drones/Phones/Mon-El/Kara/SG/Lena/Lena's Mom/Lex-o-Suits etc - but I do seem to be having more "wait what" moments because I'm older or distracted while watching things. For example: the coffee cart hit man looked a *lot* like Mon-el to me for a few seconds.
Fun episode (again) with excellence (perfect?) action/story balance in a more character focused episode. Unless that's not fair - since the producers might say - "wait this was an action episode since there was a lot actually going on action wise - just not on Reign levels" - I don't know.

That scene was very deliberate and not a slip up.

I think the whole deal is that Reign is completely different than Sam, physically and mentally.
The fact that they have the same form is almost a distraction.
Kara makes more sense given she’s always Kryptonian, which she hides as Kara, but its always there. Like when Kara bounces the bouncer in this episode, and all the way back to Season 1, Episode 1, when she bumps into someone on the street when carrying coffee to Cat and the guy goes flying with her tossing a “Sorry,,,” after him. That was gold.

I kind of feel that's explained away by fear/anger/mind-being-taken-over causes the physical change to power/invulnerability.
