Season 4 Comic-Con Trailer

Season 4 Comic-Con Trailer was created by murdough
Nothing really new from the coming season aside from the narration from Sam Witwer's Agent Liberty, footage of the aforementioned Agent, a shot of Director Alex Danvers and Brainiac 5 at the DEO, and a shot of a woman in a suit of armor bearing the S(full face mask, so no way of knowing if it's Kara). Still, something to wet our whistles til October. Also, if anyone's interested, the trailers for Arrow, Flash, and Legends have also been released and can be viewed at the CW's youtube channel.

I'm willing to bet that the woman in the mask at the end is Red Supergirl.

Just finished watching the panel, and from the sounds of it, the season sounds.....ok.  I am worried that, due to the "grounded" nature they touted, it could be more....erm, "sjw-ie" then ever.  Ofc without anything to see of it, its hard to judge.

Kinda surprised they chose Nicole Maines for the role of Nia Nal.  With the big hoopla about the character being transgender, wouldn't it make sense to cast a transgender actor? Oo  I guess having an activist is the next best thing /shrug.

Anywho, as normal for these con panels, not a great deal was revealed, but I will say at this point, the one thing I AM looking forward to is the crossover this year.  That could be really fun.

Peace.

/K

P.S.  Katie Mcgrath looked so cool on that panel.  I want to take her home with me lol :D

Nicole Maines IS a transgender woman.

I know, but she is more known as an activist then an actor, seeing as she's been in hardly anything.

As oppose to say Trace Lysette or Jamie Clayton.

I guess the age of the character must have been a large factor.

Peace.

Sorry, your post sounded like you didn’t realize she was trans. But she has been trying to break into acting, so this would be her biggest role to date. Jaime Clayton would have been awesome, but age is factor, and money, too. Nicole is probably a cheap get than Clayton.

No problem m8.  Yeah, agree, cost probably would have been another factor.

Peace.

Ah.... hate to break the news, but Nicole Maines was born a male and has converted to female. She is also very hot, which makes it hard to see that, which is kind of the point. But she has always identified as female and lives accordingly.

I'll just quote myself :)

And for the record, I called them casting an transgender actor back when they said they announced the character would be transgender.  I even suggested Candis Cayne.

:)

Peace.

K,
I was responding to this excerpt from your recent post below. In your prior posts, I thought you were talking about a transgender character. But to Nicole Maines credit (who is an activist who believes that casting should reflect the character's gender), they actually cast a transgender actor to play a transgender character.

"Kinda surprised they chose Nicole Maines for the role of Nia Nal.  With the big hoopla about the character being transgender, wouldn't it make sense to cast a transgender actor? Oo  I guess having an activist is the next best thing /shrug."

Hmm, I guess I can see how that can seem unclear.

At least we got it sorted out :)
