cartoon-ish super violence

Something steelknight3000 said in response to my finger flick post got me a-thinking about “realistic” vs. well, not-so-realistic depictions of super violence. For example, in some stories, like say in those of the great Conceptfan, when a super babe throws a man at a wall, he usually explodes in a mess of gore. I guess that is probably close to what would really happen, but when I fantasize about a super babe throwing me into a wall, I usually picture it in a more humorous way. I imagine being thrown at the wall, but instead of slamming against it and becoming a bloody mess, I go through it, leaving an outline of my body – just like in a cartoon (hence the title of this post). Or say if a super babe zaps me with her heat vision. My skin might be charred black, and my clothes all singed, and smoke rising from my body, but I'm still able to quip, "I knew she was hot, but this is ridiculous!" wah wah waaah! Or if she zaps me with greater intensity, I might turn to ash. Then she would simply sweep me up into a dustpan and dump me in a trashcan, but then I *pop* back to life a few seconds later, and while still standing in the garbage can, I might say something like “I’m used to girls treating me like dirt, but c’mon!” ba-dum-bump! Or, she might decide to freeze me solid with her freeze-breath, then, with a tap of her finger, my frozen body would break into a million pieces. Again, she would sweep me up and dump me into a trash bin, and once again I would return to normal a few seconds later, ready for more abuse. “I’ve been given the cold-shoulder before, but this really takes the cake!” I could say. I also like the idea of a super babe crushing and compressing me until I'm about the size and shape of a basketball. However I would still be alive and would be aware of everything that’s going on. She would do all sorts of tricks with me, like spinning me on her finger, while "Sweet Georgia Brown" plays in the background, then she would dribble me to the basket, jump up, and slam dunk me, shattering the backboard. I would then hit the ground hard, bounce a few times, until I *popped* back to normal. Or she might use me as a soccer ball, kicking me with her feet, trying to see how long she can keep me up in the air. But she would get bored, and she would give me a final super-kick, sending me flying until I slammed into a tree. I would hit the tree hard, then *pop* back to normal. Hmm this post went on longer than I thought. Sorry about that.

I usually prefer somewhere in between. When a superbabe throws a guy against a wall, I want him to get hurt, but fall the ground in pain, not die or cartoonishly go through the wall. In other words, my ideal superbabe probably isn't as strong (or quite as mean all the time) as ConceptFan's ideal.

So nothing so gory as CF, but not as cartoon as your ideas, either.

Thanks for sharing with us. You know, I appreciate comedy, and there are times I don't want death or violence, just escapist tv. That's like a live action cartoon, and while I cant remember a heroine scene like this, there have been movies that have come close, namely 2 of Sean Young's. The Jekyll and Hyde one and the Fatal Attraction one. Or Super Dave.

Interesting fantasy. Reminds me of those old Tex Avery cartoons. The sight of a beautiful female would cause the male character to go through all kinds of bizarre contortions. Of course she just had to wiggle her hips to drive him crazy. It's a lot more fun when a super-woman does more than flex her femininity. I like your descriptions of the basketball or soccer ball scenes. Being at the mercy of a superwoman who can mold you into any form - take you apart and put you back together again just for her own amusement .... always good.
