Vintage Looking Superheroine

This is one of my newer ones. Sort of like Carla Gugino in Watchmen, a Claire Sinclair type. A woman who has travelled through time by accident from the 1940's to now. Where she only dreamed on once being a simple housewife, she comes to our time and realizes she has abilities far beyond those of other mortals. Also complicating the fact is that even though she is smart, 70 yrs of inventions have happened that she has no knowledge of. So of course, when she arrives in my time, I am the one she trusts instantly(hey it's my fantasy). Staying true to her look and style, she gets a job at a vintage clothing store to hide her secret identity. But stays a do gooder even while constantly learning about new times and new threats.

Good premise... put some meat on it!
